HELP! Firebird 94 NO Brake Lights

Help, Ideas please, tail lights work, hazard flasher
lights work, turn signal lights work, also trunk (center)
brake light works BUT no brake tail lights. 94
Firebird Formula V8.

I also have a 94 Formula the lights are screwy I have replaced all bulbs
Flasher everything still screwy.

Fuse looks OK. When I remove the brake light fuse the
trunk brake light quits working then when I replace it the
the trunk brake light works but still no main brake lights.

What about the switch. I can't speak specifically to that car, but follow
the brake pedal arm up and look for a small cyninder where the pedal arm
holds a button in and when the pedal is pressed the switch releases,
activating the brake lights. There will be a few wires emerging from it. I
had an 89 Iroc-Z and installed a brake light toggle switch just off that.

Thanks too all ! FYI...it was the brake switch above the brake
pedal. There are separate power wires for the center trunk
brake lamp and the tail lights. Replaced the switch about $11.

If the third light works (and the bulbs arnt burned out) its probably the
turnsignal switch (do you have amber or red turnsignals) if amber let me
know before you replace the switch. Kenny

i had to replace all four of the sockets in mine. same thing happened to me one
at a time though.

i had to replace all four sockets in mine. seem like the 94 formulas have a
serious problem with the sockets.

I just bought a 94 firebird 3.4L v6 and my brake lights don't work when my headlights are on at night juss the top light but during the day when my headlights are off they work I alredy changed the light switch and still the same thing anybody know what's wrong with it it's not a fuse I alredy checked it
