Please take a few moments and give this a read if you're looking for someone
to do work on your car...

Just another example of the economy being too strong. People have too much
money, they don't need their jobs, their plentiful. Currently, a company is
almost afraid to fire someone that shows up daily, because of the large pool
of losers without jobs. Most companies currently feel that they don't
really need your business, they already have too much work, as your example
shows. You won't see the return of customer service until the economy
crashes and people start losing their jobs and the companies that don't
again focus on customer service go away.

Eddie,
I agree... There are a couple of shops here that are really good to work
with and appreciate the business, but they are pretty few and far
between. Speed shops in this area are pretty rare so even the terrible
ones get more business than they can handle.

Thanks for taking the time to read,
Peter

Thanks for the info Peter. I have 94 Z and had talked with these guys since
the car was nearly new. They seemed really unsure about any type of simple
work: muffler, air intake, and Hurst Shifter. Totally had no confidnce in
anything they said.

I never did get a Hurst of B&M put on. These guys thought it would be to hard
to "adjust the rods" - I check and it just bolts in. Looks like my instincts
were right.

My Z gettting lose to 100k miles now. I am just wondering where I will get the
car serviced. OKC is bad place for reputable auto service. And we havent even
talked body work and paint!
