Sometimes? (Just kidding.)

I don't have the time to do the math, but here are all the variables.

1995 V8 = 275 @5000rpm hp
325 @2000rpm ft-lbs. torque
0-35 = 2.6 seconds
0-55 = 5 seconds
0-60 = 5.8 seconds
Rolling Acceleration: 25-45mph = 5.4 seconds
45-65mph = 4.9 seconds

1995 V6: 160 @ 4600rpm hp
200@ 3600rpm ft-lbs. torque

S'more than ye' need, but anyhoo, all this info. can be found at cars.com
I'm sure you might be able to find the V6 specs somewhere, but I've had no
luck.

9.0 seconds. This is taken from a July 1993 issue of Road & Track (same
engine, same car, 1 year apart). Now, mention to your b/f that for just a
little bit more he could have had a 95 Z28 that did it in 5.7 seconds.

Why torture a tiny V6 like that? What did it do to hurt you?

The exhaust manifold burned my arm while I was removing the oil filter.

I have a 95 3.4 firebird, i have modified it from a 17.2 second v6 into
a 16.145 and this is without nitrous, beore i did my mods i had a 0-60
in 8.701 seconds. now i am currently at 7.241. now it is up to you to
tell your boyfriend to beware of modifying the 3.4 V6 because you will
run into nothing but problems and well it's like squeezing Blood out of
a rock. GLK9MM has seen my bird and knows i can at least keep up. If
your boyfriend is sure that he wants to modify his camaro with the 3.4
here is a list of what "Should" be done first and if he needs help i
will list a web site at the bottom of the page.

Full exhaust. from the headers back the only company that makes headers
for the 3.4 is Pacesetter. a Random Technology High flow catalytic
convertor. And the best cat back for the $ is the B&B Tri-flo exhaust
then a K&N Cold Air induction system (FIPK). these will give him a
significant amount of horsepower for that motor. all the parts can be
obtained at http://www.tbyrnemotorsports.com

the website where he can get more information on the car and help from
the message board is http://www.firebirdv6.com
Stefan and Bill Spano are the two main guys to ask about a v6 motor Bill
Spano is the man who has been helping me to modify my 3.4. He has a 13.8
Second in the 1/4 97 Firebird GT. and also a 12.640 second 2000 WS6.

any more help needed just e-mail me.
