The mounts from a 64-66 mustang will work for the engine. You will
need to make your own AOD mount. I am not sure if the AOD will fit in
the floor hump, so I would make a trial fit before rebuilding. The
mustang radiator will also fit. Mustang headers will fit, but not
with power steering or manual trans. There are Falcon headers
available, use them. The upper and lower A arms are the same for 6
and 8, but you will need the v8 spindles, brakes, brake hoses, and
steering linkage. The centerlink is hard to find. You can use a
mustang steering linkage, but only if you use all mustang, as they are
different styles, and dont mix. Be aware that there are 2 different
steering box shaft sizes, where the pitman arm goes on. Change the
front springs, they are the same as mustang. You also need the 8inch
rear end, from a 63-65 falcon, or 64-66 mustang. This special rearend
will install with the Ubolts and plates from the 6 cyl rearend. Have
a driveshaft made.

Not '63. That's a one-year-only rear end that's two inches narrower
than the 64-65 Falcon or the Mustang rears. The good news is that a
'64-'65 Comet V-8 car will also have the right rear end.
I had to use 2 degree shims on the spring pads to get the pinion angle
right when I did this swap in my '63 Ranchero. You may not need them,
but watch for the problem.

Forgot to add the comet part, and I have a comet behind the barn that
I bought just for that purpose. I also junked a few mustangs a few
years back to get the running gear to make falcon v8s. I think I
still got 2 sets in the barn.
Good luck on your project, v8 falcons go like hell, if you can get
traction.
