Insurance for Alfa 155?

Hi,

Just received my renewal notice for car insurance and I nearly fell over!
I know premiums have gone up, but a £200 rise is a joke.

For the record I drive a 155 2.0 TS 1994 (value £4000???), 7 years NCB and
one speeding conviction (6pts).

Speaking as a 30 year old living outside Luton should I expect to pay
£815... No I don't think so either.

A few more quotes have brought it down to about £730 (Direct Line, RAC) but
I was hoping for a premium of about £550.

Does AROC membership offer substantial savings?

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...

We tried lots of places to get our Spider (96) insured and eventually
settled for the same as last year , Churchill who quote £330, 7+ years NCB,
no points, Kent.

1.8 16V 155 ....£480 fully comp with 3 points and 5 yrs NCB

Try Geraint on 0161 9297100, its manchester, but they have always
given me good quotes

Hi i've just insured my 75 2.0TS. I was with Adrian Flux, my renewal was
£580. But the AA quoted £568 TPFT and the cover was better (covers me to
drive other cars unlike Adrian Flux. Not bad for a 21 Year old with 4yrs
NCB and 3points.
