4.3L V6 Vortec Timing Belt Question

OK. Maybe this is a dumb question. What is the recommended maintenance (ie
replacement interval) for the timing belt of a 95 Blazer with a 4.3L V6 Vortec
engine? I've searched the owners manual and don't see it mentioned.

I might just be ignorant, but i thought the Vortec had a chain? anyone?

There is no such interval as the 4.3 V-6 uses a chain...............

And won't the chain usually last until the engine needs a rebuild? That's what
I've heard anyway, as long as maintenence has been performed...

I would recommend changing it at about 100k

The older ones and aftermarket sure about 100K or a so, have not been to
pleased with the newer ones. they have those screwy cheap plastic gears.
Haven't had one go out, just way sloppy when I pull the cover.
