SLK Reliability??

OK, I'm starting to get serious, with Mercedes uping production the wait
for an SLK may not be too long, looks like within a month of a Boxster.
Dealers appear to be getting four to six cars a month instead of the
normal two. Have there been any reliability problems, or minor anoyances
with the SLK? I'm still trying to make up my mind.

Do you think it will be worth waiting for the 6 motor or for the '99
model? I'll be doing mostly highway driving and am not all that
interested in stop light to stop light performance. I'm not interested in
a stick shift (wife is shiftless).
