2001 Ranger 4.0L Stalls

Occasionally in traffic, my Ranger RPMs drop almost to the point of
stalling. I replace the Idle contol module but
this did not solve the problem. The Ranger runs fine except in stop
and go traffic. I took it to the dealer and didn't find any fault
codes or problems. Something is not right. Any idea's are appreciated.

Get some throttle body cleaner, spray the throttle plate and surrounding area to remove the dirt and carbon buildup the wipe the area clean and see if that solves your problem. This problem won't throw a code so you won't see a check engine light and is overlooked by many mechanics. Good luck with your problem.
