RECORDING MINI-WORKSHOP
The Patterson Arts Center
3134 Eastern Avenue
Baltimore, MD

Price: $0
RECORDING MINI-WORKSHOP Monday May 23rd! The arrival of inspiration hardly
ever fits our daily schedules. Sometimes the ideas come so fast you can't
even write them all down. Wouldn't it be handy to have something better than
a pad of paper and a cassette recorder so that we might capture more of those
fleeting thoughts. Wouldn't it also be nice if we could record them easily so
that they might actually be used later in a more formal recording? There are
a lot of small recording boxes out there that do this.
Mitch Shaivitz of the Guitar Center is set to come to our Monday May 23rd
meeting to spend a half hour or so to show us 2-3 relatively low cost digital
recording devices that will enable our members to record CD quality audio at
home, at 3AM, 3PM or whenever. Please make plans to join us for this special
BSA event.

Hi Ed,
Really good question. I think there have been covers, but we're obviously
more interested in originals. Hey, you could always come by and hang to
catch the vibe the first time. We'll be at The Mojo the third monday of every
month now, having moved the event from the Kiss Cafe in Canton.
Song circles are at The Patterson Theater on second and fourth mondays, BTW.

Ty
Thanks Ty. I'm going to see if I can make it.
