Your price on the ME60 is high. They sell on Fleabay for $125 tops,
usually around $100 unless it's the newest "S" version in their
website.

Rupert

Just sold it for $200 so it's gone.

So much for your opinion.

From now on your name is Bloopert.

About 6 mo. ago I picked up 4 units off of Ebay. I went back and
checked my purchase pricing. I got one for $100, one for $125, and the
last 2 for $150 from the same guy. So I was off by $25 admittedly. The
revisions varied but all were in excellent condition. But as you can
see they were all well under $250. with 2 being half that. I needed to
build a super compact and cheap 8 mix monitor EQ rack and the Rane fit
the bill. It's actually a decent EQ electrically for the money and has
both HPF and LPF's which is a big plus. The thing that sucks about
them and most short throw slider EQ's is precision. Couple that with
the all black sliders on a dark faceplate and they're a PITA to read
in concert lighting situations. But that's the trade-off for cheap.

Anyhow, kudos to you for getting the $200 as it's still above market
value. $250 was way too much. The units I picked up wouldn't move at
the original asking price which were close to yours and the auctions
were modified to a lower price.

I still say you were a complete ass about the whole thing.

What you paid doesn't determine the going rate. You just have such a big ego
you think it does.

An average of ebay sales over the last 6 months would be a better
assumption.

I posted OBO a fact which you have neglected in your posts. And I guarantee
the eBay units you bought were older and more used.

Your only motivation was to try and make it not sell. In other words, thread
crapping which isn't professional behavior. You were just being a jerk.

It's an expensive item barely used, I charged the buyer a third of the
original price. End of story

Actually, I wasn't trying to make it not sell, quite the contrary. I
was simply advising you that they weren't moving at the price you were
originally asking 6 months ago when *I* was trying to buy them. Prepal
currently has them at $192 tracking 287 sold with the pricing trend
downward. If you think I was trying to screw you, that's your
prerogative but I assure you that was not my intent.

Prepal is just more evidence you were off base.

Look I don't want a fight.

I'll accept what you say at face value but please understand your help
usn't wanted in the future.

I don't compete with eBay. I am a fanatic about how I care for my stuff...I
just sold a couple Shure receivers to another group member...he was able to
get two NEW mics and have half the discounted street price in a couple very
nice systems. That's what MY stuff is like.

If somebody sells cheaper it just may be because his stuff is worth less.
Not that mine is too high as you implied.

Doesn't matter much as I will be selling less and less. All I do now is
some work for a local college and a few community events, or a pub gig
occasionally.

I only do pub gigs for bands I would pay to see-which isn't many.
