Well, do you want to tell us where, or do you want us to read your mind?

Us Canadian Minidiscers should bond together and buy few hundred
minidiscs and then divide them inbetween ourselves - that way we can
all finaly be happy and stop paying stupid exchange rates and border
fees

In Winnipeg they're $7 at Walmart and four packs are $28 at the Sony Store.
Also in Winnipeg, Future Shop sells them for $6 when you buy 5. You can try
http://www.westerntape.com/specials.htm for a canadian mail order but I'm not
sure what "Arita" MDs are.

Not sure how prevalent A&B Sound is across Canada, but I think it's only in
the west Coast along with a few stores in Alberta. Nevertheless, they are
selling the Sony coloured 74m 4-packs for $19.99 (plus GST+PST). That
works out to be $5 each. Not bad.. plus, you get the disc holder =8)

I find that FutureShop sells them much higher. However, it's probably in
Vancouver, BC only. I only found the regular (ie., non-coloured) Sony ones
for over $6. The TDK ones are the same price.

Hmm.. is "Arita" a brand name? Never heard of it. This is what is
written on their web page (URL above):

Minidisc 74 minute - ARITA $3.88 or less

Also, do they include the case?

I emailed them, ARITA is the brand name. I don't think there is a case
because there is no pre-defined quantity to order.

Yes they do indeed include the jewel case on the "Arita" brand.
They were very quick in the response to my e-mail as well.
I have one of their catalogs on the way but haven't placed
an order as yet. When I do, I will post a follow up on the
service to this group.

Here is the link to the actual manufacturers site "Ritek Corporation".
Not much info but there are somewhat fuzzy pix of the MD product.

Please do. At $3.88CAN, that's the cheapest I can find.

Also, Norman, the Production Manager who replied to my e-mail, mentioned
that the Arita comes in yellow. He also noted that they carry Sony (black
and colored.. but requires a "special purchase"), TDK (many colors), and
Fuji (black). However, when I asked how much the TDK and Fujis were, he
did not say and gave me a number to call.

Check out the Asian malls in your area. I live in Toronto, and at Pacific Mall
(Steeles and Kennedy) has lots of minidisc stuff. Discs, players, etc. All
the stuff you find in an online store ; )
