has anyone heard of an impulse quad? There is a motorcycle shop by me
that is selling them, they must have 15-20. And the adult sizes start at
$1800. I'm not interested in them, but when I looked for them on the
net, nothing came up. Interesting.

The Impuls (no e on the end) TXL50 is in the July Dirt Wheels.

They give it a good rating, despite the fact they are made in Taiwan.
Suggested retail is $1700. They also make a 90, which will be an interesting
competition with the Honda 90. The dealer that I bought my EX from had
one... neat little quad if you have a kid.

I didn't know they made larger ones.... I think you may have seen the new
90 and assumed it was "adult size".

I saw an article tucked away in the corner of some mag that said they were
going to release a larger model for the adult. It is supposed to look and
feel just like the smaller quad for easy transition for growing riders. All
I know about them is that their smaller quads usually get pretty high marks
from the mags.

Impulse makes a great "kiddie" quad, much cheaper and at least as good
as the Yamaha Badger, according to our Yamaha dealer who sells them.
