You're going to hear this from a few other people besides me, but if I were
looking at buying a new ATV, I would stick with the manufacturers that have
been around longer than 1 or 2 years. Why, you ask? Because if that $1500
ATV that you got such a great deal on requires a part, and that part has to
be ordered and shipped from Asia, you may as well forget about ever seeing
that replacement part and put your $1500 ATV up for sale for the next person
to moan and groan about. And if you are so lucky to receive a part for it,
you may as well hack a couple of limbs off to pay for it, no doubt it will
be that expensive, by the time you pay for the price of the part and the
shipping and handling costs from Asia.
There are so many of those cheap "no-name" ATV manufacturers out there, yet
people continue to buy them. And when those no-name ATV's break, those
owners usually seem to come on this newsgroup and rant and rave about how
they got ripped off. IMO, there is too much information on the Internet
about any type of machine that all people should do their homework before
spending money on any brand of machine. Personally I would stick with one
of the 7 well known brands, Artic Cat, Can-am, Honda, Polaris, Kawasaki,
Suzuki and Yamaha. Don't get me wrong though, there are some smaller
manufacturers such as Kymco and a few others that are also worth checking
out. You may end up spending a bit more on the purchase price, but overall
you will be happy to know you have a machine that will last.
Just my 2 cents,

Most of the Taiwanese stuff is equal to or as good as the Japanese stuff.
It's the garbage from mainland China that you want to avoid.
I was looking at their webpage
http://www.bsiatvproducts.com/PRODUCTS/products.html
and if this is less than a Honda by $1000, then I'd consider buying one.
