gas bungee cord?

Seriously, how about a ratchet strap or two if you are compelled to tie the can on. At last the
tension could be maintained and the gas can would be more snug to the machine. I think once you got
the can bouncing with the bungee cords the hooks may come un done.

Good luck, I would not use the bungee cords.

Yeah, that makes better sense, although to date it looks like those black
cords will hold...(I've thrown a few extra ones in my compartment just in
case). I'd like a better solution; one that can be easily put on and taken
off yet very secure.
