I'm about to purchase my first ATV. It will usually be used for work &
play on my personal property, may a few excursions a year somewhere
else. What are my insurance options and there costs?

I'm most concerned with theft and damage from a tree falling on the
ATV's storage shed ect. Is this covered seperatly from homeowners ins?

I was told I should have collision and liability... do most atv owners
have this?

Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks

My home owners insurance covers my atv's on my property for theft and fire.
We go so many other places that I cover them separately also.

https://www.atv-line.com/ or 1-888-755-4ATV (4288)
if they cover your state.

I use them because they were 300.00 cheaper a year than my auto insurance
company (covering 5 ATV's)

your auto insurance may be cheaper. I would be sure it was apples to apples
though.

Good luck with your atv and have fun

Check with your home owners insurance. I varies by policy. I know my state
farm policy would not cover the ATVs, even if parked in the garage and the
house burned down. Got a separate policy - currently ~$50/yr. Liability is a
good thing (if you accidentally smash into someone and send them to the
hospital, the costs will come out or your pocket). I got liability only on
my older quad ~$30/yr.
