WEHT Russ Minshue?

Before Glen Burns there was Russ Minshue (spelling?) on channel 2. He was
very well liked and had come to Atlanta when Johnny Beckman when to channel
11.
Anyway, Russ was arrested and charging near Macon for something like
soliciting a male minor. I was watching when Monica Kaffman announced the
arrest on the six o'clock news. She had a hard time doing it.
As I recall, Russ was tried and found innocent. I heard the kids has
asked
him for money when they saw the car he was driving and when he refused
they threatened to tattle on him and did.
So whatever became of Russ? Anyone know?

Russ died of cancer back in 1993.

I just thought it was child molesting.
and I remember seeing Ken Cook, the weather guy, would come into a local
cafeteria joint regularly where I worked in while I was in HS. No one would go
up and bother him which I thought was cool.
