Looking for a Commodore 128D computer system complete w/monitor & printer
(optional). Must be working. 2400 baud Modem, Joystick, and Programs are a
plus. Will pick up local to Atlanta (I work downtown).

Please reply if you have anything for sale. Remove the % signs and the crap
between them when responding.

Thanks.

I checked on ebay and these things are pretty scarce. Looks like
average price is about $80. Here is an example:

I had one of these when they came out. I believe it had CPM and two
other OSes on it (C64 and C128 mode). Pretty cool system. Why do you
want the D instead of the regular 128 model if you don't mind me
asking.

better question is why you want one at all, heh. Kinda like having
access to a modern calculator and asking if anyone knows where you can
get an abacus (sp?).

although I must admit I miss my old C128, the arcade style games back
then were much more enjoyable than anything I've played since on a PC.
remember the hogans alley type shooter where you were the sheriff and
had to clean out the bad guys? or the one where you lobbed cannon
balls back and forth over the hill? heh, those were the days...

speaking of cpm, the damn manual was about 20 inches thick and weighed
about 20 pounds, lol.
