How does religion support population control?
South America and Africa have some of the highest birth-rates in the world.

well then they are the ones that need to refer to statement 2.
ALL of christianity was started by catholics, It was the first
christian religion, The catholics basically wrote the entire new
testament.

The only thing that has killed more people than religion are the
really bad illnesses long ago.... Christians have murdered over 60
million people way over 60 million

well as I said catholics started the first christian religion, it was
the catholics that composed the new testament which is what
christianity is all about. I mean the part about the "god" raping a
human child of 12 to make the baby harry potter... oops I meant jesus.
That is the foundation of christianity. If catholics weren't so stupid
maybe they would have considered writing a story about perhaps an
adult woman being raped by a god. I mean at least the greeks had zeus
raping a woman not a child <as far as I know anyway> I mean religion
is the same shit just different names.... Christianity has just as
many gods and idols as the greek and roman pagans.

I think the previous suggestions need some fact checking.
For this, <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakira_Caine>
says "British Guiana".

So now I'm imagining "Michael Caine" by "Madness"
in a cover version by Shakira - another lady of that
name, I think.

{Inherit The Wind. Henry Drummond cross-examines Matthew Brady}

Drummond: Now listen to this. This is Genesis 4 to 16: "And Cain
went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod,
on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife." Now where the hell did
she come from?

Brady: Who?

Drummond: Mrs. Cain. Cain's wife. If, in the beginning, there were just
Cain and Abel, and Adam and Eve, where did this extra woman come from?
Did you ever stop to think about that?

Brady: No, sir. I leave the agnostics to hunt for her.

Drummond: Never bothered you?

Brady: Never bothered me.

Drummond: Never tried to find out?

Brady: No.

Drummond: You figure somebody else pulled another creation over

In a literal interpretation they were unnamed daughters of Adam and Eve. Incest
wasn't squicky until Moses receive the Law.

I've loved it since I was a teenager.

When I auditioned for a part in one of our high school's
plays, in my senior year, I used a soliloquy from the
Hornbeck character, based on Mencken. I got to play
the main "villain" in "Arsenic and Old Lace."

The last play I had been in was in 6th grade. You
can't beat good material. :)

They had lots of sons and daughters. Yes, brother
and sister obviously married.

No genetic defects back then being so close to
the original Creation.

Maybe that's why I prefaced with 'In a literal interpretation...'. The more
common nonliteral interpretation is Cain, Abel, and Seth stand for various
people in the Euphrates valley, which included women to wive.

Please meet *Li Ching Yuen* who lived to be 256.

https://world.parhlo.com/256-years-old-man-breaks-silence-death-reveals-shocking-secrets-world/

He married 23 times and fathered over 200 children.

Since Adam lived to be 3.6 times longer than Li Ching Yuen,
we can figure approximately how many children Adam could
have had.

3.6 x 200 = 720

Not if he only had 1 wife. He'd have to be fucking his
daughters and granddaughters too. Still, that's less
than one kid a year.

Solomon had over 700 wives & concubines. If he knocked
them up once each, on average, he did better than Adam.
Of course, he didn't have 930 years to do it.

There are fundamental differences between Catholics and Protestants.

1. Authority of the Bible vs authority of the Pope and tradition.
2. The deity of virgin Mary (fake Christian veneer over Isis/Diana) vs Mary as told by the Bible as having had other children (no virgin)
3. Salvation via authority of the church/works vs salvation through faith.
4. The church tells you what to do and has authority to change laws vs the Bible tells you what to do.
5. Shame (external pressure) vs internal pressure via Holy Spirit
6. And much, much more.

Ah, I believe I've seen it spelled both ways but I might be wrong.

"So close" is roughly 15-1600 years after the "original Creation". Can
we agree on that?

The Bible doesn't say when the Fall took place, but it seems that most
agree that it happened not long after Creation week. 10-50 days. Okay
with that?

According to you the Fall is what triggered devolution, IOW genetic
defects began to appear in the genomes of all life forms.

Noah was about 600 years when the Flood took place, which means he was
born ~1000 years after the "original Creation" and the Fall.

As you might have guessed already, I have a few questions and I think
you're just the man who can provide the answers:

How many generations had passed during the 1000 years after the Fall
and until Noah was born with "no genetic defects"?

Did Noah pass on his immaculate genes to his three sons, and did the
sons' wives have the same 'quality' genes as they did?

Did all other life forms, living at the same time as Noah, also have
"no genetic defects"?

You're assuming "creation" when you conclude as you do.

The scientific evidence, those facts that you refer to as "fantasy",
places earliest sexual reproduction about 1,5 billion years ago. But
it was not 'male and female', 'sperm and egg' "from the get go". Those
features evolved over the eons.

Note: Whenever Amassing Assvoid agrees, you're sure to be on the wrong
side of logic, reality and anything resembling truth.

Why does the Bible need to be "interpreted"?

If a passage says X then X happened, it is
not a "metaphor" or an "allegory" for something
else, no?

Remember, most people are only reading a translation
of the original text. Unless you believe that the
translators can't have made mistakes, because they
had been sprinkled with magic invisible pixie dust,
aka "inspiration," ancient texts always need to be
interpreted. Which means jobs for priests, augurs,
oracles and theologians.

Even when the original text is written in what is
ostensibly the reader's "cradle language," it is often
in an archaic dialect. The same thing happens to vernacular
versions that have been around for quite some time. Compare
the King James babble to a very recent translation. They
read very differently.

I speak and read 20th Century/21st Century English, in a
Northeastern US dialect. If I read Shakespeare or Chaucer or
"Beowulf" it either has to be glossed or in translation for me
to understand all the vocabulary and catch all the cultural
references. That's why Penguin Classics are footnoted or end-
noted.

It all depends, because its meaning is all a matter of
opinion.

Once you start saying this or that passage is allegorical
with whatever meaning you want to impute, you're starting
down the slippery slope toward realizing it's all
nonsense.

I'm happy, though, to accept "several decades", and it makes no

Did they "probably" have some, or do you know for a fact that Noah had
fewer genetic defects than all other life forms, maybe even including
all other human beings?

Let's take the horse kind as an example. Had it devolved into two or
five or maybe even ten different species by the time of the Flood?

There is no assumption necessary to recognize the pyramid as the result
of creation. In the same way, there is no assumption necessary to
realize that life as a complicated biological system has to be the
result of creation. This isn't rocket science. This is just simple logic.

That's just pure imagination and manufactured consent. There is no real
evidence of that except the imagination in the mind of evolutionists.
Sexual reproduction was a perfect reproduction process from its very
beginning. It had no need to improve itself. It has always been a
perfect design.

That is not literature.
Is there any indication telling people it was just fiction?
Not meant to be taken literally but you believe wholeheartedly!!

Thing is, it does not really know much at all, what it does know it
thinks is everything so it thinks it knows everything, this is why it
believes in fairies.

I just hope maybe everyone that reads this reply will believe me when
I say ALL christians are idiots, because they are, because they
believe in fairies. I don't care how much education they think they
have because IF they believe in fairies they are not educated at all.
As far as the moron joe, it has lied so many times it actually
believes its own bullshit.

No, philosophy is always greater than science. The philosophical truth

How about stop posting about what you think
the Bible says and actually READ it for a change?

I am totally with you...
If someone can believe in his religious bullshits, it would show his brain is kaput, whether or not he has high education! It is a waste of money and time for the duration of his education!

And the time spent for education is stupid and wasteful because one can use his pixie for all things or situation!!!!

Without science, man will never progress to today.
We can live without philosophy because it merely tell us what is our life.
But science is one that governs our lives.
