Biden woke up early yesterday afternoon and,
defying critics, seemed to know what day it
was.

"It's Tuesday," he said. And it was indeed Tuesday,
February 20!

"It's Tuesday," Biden spoke while wiping the sleep
from his eyes. "Did I win the election?"

Experts were quick to point out that Biden only
had a 1-in-7 chance of correctly guessing the
day of the week, but he had only gotten it wrong
for the previous three previous mornings straight.

"The President is getting it right one out of every
four times," an expert in cognition explained, "And
many are telling me that's pretty consistent.
Considering that there's only a one in seven chance
at getting it right with a guess," we pointed out,
that means the President is in top form, the best
we've seen in years."

Kamala Harris, who sat waiting in the wings for
the President to take his morning fall, was
delighted to hear the news.

"I'm ready," the Vice President said. "I'm ready to
step in. You're going to love me as President,"
she suggested. "Or else."
