Anyway, out of nothing more than sheer optimism, I present the Weber
Intelligence Test Series, Question #1:
Given the following two propositions:
1. Person A said that Item X was true.
2. Person A said that a book said Item X was true
Answer the following question:
Are propositions 1 and 2 above:
A. Different ways of saying precisely the same thing, or
B. Saying two different things
Answer A or B.
Budikka
A or B.
That's actually what the cowardly little lying hypocrite will do! (Of
course, then he'd fail the intelligence test, but he's not smart enough
to grasp that!) Excellent!
B.
C. Duke's an idiot.

Clearly you haven't read the messages. Fake Puke preempted you and we
all predicted you would do precisely this, thereby proving you're a
complete moron.
Either that or intellectual honesty is such an alien concept to you
that even in a **COMPLETELY HYPOTHETICAL SITUATION** you still run away
from it as fast as your pale skinny legs can carry your bulk! How
pathetic is that?!
You failed the intelligence test. Unless, of course, you want to
select one single letter - either A or B but not both - in answer to
the question. Then we can procede to stage 2 of the test.
Right now you're an 'F'. But everyone knows that, so don't worry too
much about it.

It takes a moron to fail to recognize that both apply.
Earl holds that A = not A if he says so.

But isn't that an essential property of /all/ theist thought--at
least, at some level? Even the most rational and enlightened will
maintain that, for example, omnipotence does not necessarily
include the ability to do the impossible.
Of course, it's rarely so starkly demonstrated as it is with duke.
Cheers,

No, it takes a moron to be asked to choose one or the other and then he
choses both. Both was not an option. The request was that you select
one letter and one letter only. You can choose option 'A' or you can
choose option 'B'. You failed to grasp this. It's entirely
unsurprising that in the very first Weber Intelligence Test Series
question, you failed dismally.
Obviously you lost your WITS.
And the two options *are* different - just FYI.
Budikka
Elegantly stated. And I'm sure you'll agree that this is not news, but
I think we have, in this thread, expressed it unequivocally for
everyone to see. Earl J. Weber is indeed a moron - case proven!
What he failed to grasp is that *even if the two were equivalent* (and
they're not), he wasn't given an option "'C. Both", he was asked to
choose one or the other of the two options given and he *still*
couldn't get it! Even tossing a coin would have given him a
fifty-fifty chance of getting it right. A coin-toss is clearly 50%
smarter than Earl!

Earl again demonstrates his inability to comprehend that he and he alone
holds these beliefs.

If you could support that, it wouldn't be a lie now would it? And
since you can't support a thing you say, you're nothing but a lie.
The fact is that the two are not the same. If a person says that **a
book claims something** that person is merely reporting what a book
claims. It tells us nothing about what that person believes with
regard to the item being reported.
Since your intellect is clearly incapable of grasping the purely
logical, let's reduce it to the specific and demonstrate to you and the
rest of the world how phenomenally incompetent you truly are.
Consider the case of a true Christian. This Christian believes in god
without any shadow of a doubt. Out of curiosity, this Christian reads
a book which claims there is no god. This Christian has a friend who
asks the Christian what she is reading. She responds, "This book
insists there is no god."
Is the Christian insisting there is no god, or is the Christian merely
reporting that the book insists there is no god?
Now let's put that exact scenario into the A/B choice I gave you:
1. The Christian insisted there is no god.
2. The Christian said the book insisted there is no god.
Answer the following question:
Are propositions 1 and 2 above:
A. Different ways of saying precisely the same thing, or
B. Saying two different things
Select either only A or only B as your answer and tell me which of the
two you have chosen.
Are you going to answer *this* question the same way you answered the
first one?
As with the original choice, **YOU WERE SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO CHOOSE
ONE LETTER OR THE OTHER**. Even if both had applied, it's irrelevant.
**YOU WERE SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO CHOOSE ONE LETTER OR THE OTHER**.
You could have chosen one and then made your dissent clear. That would
have been acceptable.
Even choosing both, or better yet, refusing to make the choice if you
felt it was a trick question would have been acceptable if you had
included some sort of rational argument supporting your choice, but
everyone knows you cannot do this because rationality is a completely
alien concept to you, as you've repeatedly proven.
As it happens, you're wrong on both counts. The two are not equivalent
as I've just demonstrated, and you were asked to pick only one, and
couldn't even do that. Your problem is that you don't possess the
smarts to grasp this. This was predicted in this thread before you
ever set foot in it!
This was an intelligence test and you predictably **FAILED DISMALLY AS
USUAL**! Why is it that you're so confoundedly stupid that you keep
running flat-footed, face-smacked against the wall into these things?
You really are the most pathetically and congenitally stupid person on
the planet without so much as the shadow of a doubt, and here you've
proven it **YET AGAIN**!!
Another of your problems (apart from cowardice, hypocrisy and chronic
vacuousness) is that you're so scared to death of me that you daren't
even give a straight answer to a simple straight-forward hypothetical
question when you have only two options to choose from and are
requested to choose only one option.
I think this is a good time to flush you and get on to dealing with
people who are worth my time. Clearly there's no point in
administering an intelligence test to someone who has no intelligence.
Earl, you've clearly lost your WITS. And you did it far faster than
even I expected. Thanks for proving my point. Sincerely - thanks!
It's been a balst. Bye Bye now.
Budikka
There's no need. They have all volunteered the information.
No one supports you.

Neither applies.
What's it like to live a life of falsehoods, bud the dud?
You tell us, you claim far the greater experience.
Google has noted your phenomenal and hilarious cowardice - yet again!
You sure aren't shy of embarrassing the heck out of yourself, are you,
Chick? What a riot! Earl Weber: so deathly scared of me that you
daren't even pick a letter in a simple hypothetical question which
cannot harm you in the slightest, and by your laughable cowardice you
harm yourself irreparably! How appallingly pathetic you've proven
yourself to be!

I don't know! You tell me: you're the one so buried in lies that you
don't know truth from the hole you've dug for yourself.

I'll make that official lie #18.
You have a very bad habit of lying about what other people said.
Clearly you've decided you're better than any god and no longer need to
keep the ninth commandment.

Clearly that's the most coherent thing Chick is capable of. If he

but his laughter echoes as hollowly as does his skull when you rap it
