Try posting your rubbish to alt.music.composer instead of alt.atheism.

I prefer Tchaikovsky, but I admit Rachmaninoff is agood choice.

I prefer all the composers from Eastern Europe. I like Chopin and Dvorak, too.
That makes sense:all my ancestors were Russians.

Chopin is very evocative in his music. I can't say much about Dvorak, but I like Bela Bartok.

No, no, no. The Piperis Centurio, Sola Corda Clava Cohortem Suite is the best,
followed by the Alba Concert.

All my ancestors are Russian, too, and Tchaikovsky is my favorite Russian
romance composer My other favorite romance composer is Offenbach who was a French raised German. And I confess a weakness for the entire Strauss
family (not just the waltzes). My favorite baroque composers are Bach and
Vivaldi. And Mozart is my favorite classical composer. The classical music period only covered about fifty years between baroque and romance music.
I know that the word 'classical is used generally to cover all old music,
but the actual classical music period only covered about 50 years between baroque and romance music. Classical music was a combination of the two
that developed into romance music. Most people think that any music over a century old is classical. That would make "A Bicycle Built For Two" classical
music. Being a classic is one thing; being classical is something else.

I'm not a music scholar. This is just my opinion which ArtieJoe will probably scream about.

Did you know that Tchaikovsky was gay? If anybody asks about gay contributions, there you are.

Oh but I do, but cowards like you just run away or delete the posts where you say idiotic things. You couldn't form an argument to save your life.

I fight fire with fire, coward. Time for you to run away.

I often use the term "serious music," to include music from outside the
classical period and its oeuvre, but even that fails. Is not much jazz
and folk music "serious?" Are there not un-serious pieces for the
orchestra that plays "classical" works. (Anything with a scherzo might
qualify.)

People who know music usually get it. Classical, romantic, opera,
12-tone scale tone poems: serious music. Pop, rock, show tunes and
Tin Pan Alley standards: not serious music.
