"All politicians lie, and some of them, as Bob Kerrey famously said of
Bill Clinton in 1996, are “unusually good” at it. Every campaign
(certainly including Obama’s) puts up ads that stretch or obliterate
the truth. But Romney’s record was exceptional by any standard. The
blogger Steve Benen, who painstakingly curated and documented Mitt’s
false statements during 2012, clocked a total of 917 as Election Day
arrived."

You'll see lots of lies if you read posts by Christopher A. Lee.

Because he doesn't even make the attempt to back them up with any evidence,
that tells me that he knows they are lies before posting them.

And again.

Bruno knows perfectly well that his lies are pointed out with
something like "lie noted" immediately below where he lied.

You mean, like telling everyone you "practiced law" in the military, then
announcing that you never said you practiced law. Then when someone rubs your
nose in your posting, announce it was error in terminology, and that you were
still right, you just used the wrong term? Like that?

> 2.
> something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture: His flashy car was a lie that deceived no one.

You mean like announcing on a public group that you wouldn't be around much
anymore, then continuing to post, then try to say it meant you'd just post
less, and people couldn't say you were posting less because they'd need stats
to do that. Then when someone POSTED objective stats that showed your posts
since the "announcement" weren't decreasing, but actually increasing, you begin
frantically ignoring that person because they rubbed your stupid face in the
utter contemptible lies you told that gave a false impression that you'd be
here less? Like that, Joe?

So, what you're saying is that what you say fulfills both meanings 1 and 2 of
the definition of "lie", Joe?

So we're factually correct when we call you a "Liar", as someone who tells
lies is, by definition, a liar?

Is that what you mean by posting this, Joe?

Good, thanks for clearing that up for us.

And, yet another Joe/Art lie. Joe/Art refuses to give evidence of anything.
He says that he doesn't have to. Yet he expects evidence of whatever from everyone else. Just read his messages going back over the last few years.

Bruno just can't stop lying.

Look for "lie noted" in responses to his posts - they are immediately
below his lies.

>Why do you always describe yourself when you say bad things about

He's a narcissist - to him a lie isn't a lie when he does it, it's
just the next thing to say, like a move in a game.

And he is mortally offended when it is treated as the lie it is.

Because in his own mind he isn't one.

Even though his posts are laced with lies.

That's probably true. He can't stop and he can't admit that he lies all the time. When he first showed up in aa, he informed us that he didn't have to provide any evidence of anything to us. But, he constantly asks for evidence
(with a ton of question marks) for anything we say and then ignores any kind
of answer we give. He's both a sociopath and an egotist. I guess the two go
together.

Just saw the first part of the Ken Burns biography of Mark Twain.
Gotta get a copy. Hal Holbrook was one of the narrators. Peter
Thomas (don't know him) did most of the narration and an
excellent job.

Oh boy, I'll mark this date in the calendar, right next to the day I was
denied an atheist serial number.

Circus Maximus was where they held the chariot races (see Ben Hur).
It is directly overlooked by one of the Emperors Palaces on the
Palantine Hill where they had their private boxes.

They are alleged to have slaughtered the atheists (people who refused
to worship their gods) and agitators in the Colosseum a short distance
away.
