Keeping a good thought for both you and your stepmom, Jeanne.

Administering IV antibiotics really isn't that bad. Kid Brother was
in the hospital for a week in April, and had a 10-day course of some
really strong stuff when he came home. The home health nurse came and
checked to make sure we knew how to do it, but it really wasn't that
big of a deal.

Still, if you can hack the cost of a SNF, why not?

I'm assuming she has a decent supplemental plan for her Medicare. She
and Daddy were always good at taking care of their money.

Another contradiction and inconsistency in an agnostic (a.k.a. "New
Atheist").

"Keeping a good thought" is very much akin to prayer.

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is
just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if
there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think
about these things."
--Philippians 4:8 (ESV)

Question: What reason would you have for "keeping a good thought" about
someone other
than to make yourself feel all warm and fuzzy?

Another contradiction and inconsistency found in an agnostic (a.k.a.
"New Atheist",
although they're nowhere near being an Atheist.)

Is your wishing them luck and health and courage and strength supposed
to actually
bring them luck and health and courage and strength, or is it just
supposed to make
you look all charitable and selfless, which in turn gives you that warm
fuzzing feeling?

If you say "Yes", then you've contradicted yourself.

If you say "No", then you've only posted empty and meaningless words.

It's an act of compassion towards another human being. You know,
the ones your loving god is going to intentionally torture forever.

I don't expect you to understand that you just shit on human
caring. I guess when you're filled with pompous piety and religious
superiority you can say what you want.

You are scum.

How is that an act of compassion? Does it accomplish anything?

Why tell someone you're "keeping a good thought" for them?

I see already you don't know what you're talking about.

Uncalled for religious nonsense deleted. Sorry you had to see that, Skyeyes.

You really are a cold fish, Calvin. The thought that saying something
caring and nice might make someone going through a rough time feel a
bit better never crossed your self-centered mind, obviously. And,
since the person we are writing to is an atheist, why would religion
play any part in it? Don't bother answering. You are like a religious
vulture preying on people who only need words of encouragement and
comfort. In fact, I can imagine you right now gloating to yourself
over what you would consider some kind of sick victory.

You can't comprehend because your belief bars you from normal human
emotions. Your morality rejoices in the suffering and torture of human
beings. You're a 'select' favorite of your loving god so why would you
even care about human suffering as long as you're saved from your
loving god's evil.

So your questions are moot. There is no reason to answer them with
any words because your existence is only a wait to die and be with
your loving god.

I can't figure out why you don't kill yourself. You live to die and
be rewarded like a dog learning how to sit and roll over for its
master. There is nothing in the Babble that condemns suicide unless
you cherry pick the bullshit and decide for yourself what it means.
You do that all the time.

But that's just it. She didn't.

All she said was she would "keep a good thought", as if that's going to
do something,
and make some sort of difference.

Keeping a good thought is the same as praying.

And it's inconsistent with being agnostic, and it's a contradiction to
not believing
in supernatural powers.
