Republican Todd Thomsen, a member of the House Education Committee and
the chair of the House Higher Education and Career Tech Committee has
intorduced a bill to the Oklahoma House of Representatives. The text

"The people who are regarded as moral luminaries are those
who forego ordinary pleasures themselves and find
compensation in interfering with the pleasures of others."
Bertrand Russell (1872-1970), British philosopher.
"WHEREAS, the University of Oklahoma, as a part of the Darwin 2009
Project, has invited as a public speaker on campus, Richard Dawkins of
Oxford University, whose published opinions, as represented in his
2006 book "The God Delusion", and public statements on the theory of
evolution demonstrate an intolerance for cultural diversity and
diversity of thinking and are views that are not shared and are not
representative of the thinking of a majority of the citizens of
Oklahoma;..."
"..intolerance for cultural diversity and diversity of thinking.."? So
that's what the kids are calling ignorance & fear these days?

The hypocrisy in this statement is overwhelming.
It's the jesus freaks who in "public statements on the theory of
evolution demonstrate an intolerance for cultural diversity and
diversity of thinking and are views that are not shared and are not
representative of the thinking of a majority of the citizens of
Oklahoma."

the alumni other than "Gee, Daisy's shit shur smells better than Ol'
