World Net Daily? Matt Drudge? Jerome Corsi? Yikes! Next we'll learn
that President Obama planned the 9-11 attacks with Saddam while
working for the CIA.

Expect the frequency of conspiracy theories to accelerate as the election looms.

That's all they've got.

And the scary part - there are people that actually find this stuff
credible.

Not sure whether the Democrats should get equally nasty, or try to take the moral high ground.

Obahma, when he came to power, didn't really make an effort to heap all the country's troubles on The Shrub (as he so easilly could have).

Absolutely. I know someone who emails me this stuff. And even if he can see how
wrong something was, after I've sent him citations debunking it, it's like
there's no connection that the next one he is getting from the same source is
just another turd too.

The entire plan was based on a film script first put together by Ed Woods,
which he rejected because of its unbelievability.

We have one here, fully supporting birtherism again, months after he
claimed he was done with it.

More than once he rejected it and asserted it in the same post. He is an
impressively stupid loony.

I understand that the film was to be called 'Plan 10 from outa their
minds', or something similar.

I don't believe it because I and only I know the truth.
The CIA cover story was put forth by a secret socialist group that
planned to make him president.

His real mission during that time was to cover up the fact that he was
actually born in Argentina to a family of Nazis living with Hitler in a
secret bunker.

They had to lie to Hitler and tell him he was a beautiful blond haired,
blue eyed boy.

I know. The "need to believe" is far stronger than the need to be
rational. They react on some emotional level that precludes reason.

Religions have been tapped into this human foible for a very long
time. Is your friend religious too? What flavor?
