You didn't say whether the choice was all living atheists or ALL atheist throughout history. And, what the hell is a 'bradyf'?

My answer, since we can only choose one is Isaac Asimov. He had a very hard time going from agnostic to atheist. But, when he finally realized that he was an atheist,
he supported his position strongly for the rest of his life. And, he educated people
of all ages with his non-fiction books on science, history and anything else he could think of. Plus, I love his old fashioned science fiction.
