You know, God trusted Eve to resist the Devil but place her within his
reach, and the Devil, of course, outsmarted God by appearing to Eve
like a talking serpent...

Ulysses on the other hand tied his crew and himself to resist
temptation from the sirens. Smart move. In any case we are paying for
God's lack of imagination while the Devil is still on the loose. What
a dumb god we have!

Sorry.
Bit I disagree with you that there is god and devil. Don't play into
religious trap.
There is none of such thing since the appearance of mankind.
They are just weak human imagination or the early man's fear of the
dark.

I'm just playing the Devil's advocate. Someone said God was so smart
as the idiots who created it. And dumb they were... ;)

Hey, he disguised himself as a serpent and had Eve and thus Humanity
go his way, ie. the DEVIL'S WAY.

Many are tied up by him. Don't you Chritians also want to tie up
people so they go your way? Why don't you let them choose between good
and evil, and say, legalize marihuana. Not that the marihuana is evil,
but you consider it that way along with alcohol.

God knew the Devil was up to no good and he warned Eve. So either Eve
was dumb (the traditional interpretation) or God himself was dumb.

What's 2,000 years of Christianity compared to the 4 b-i-l-l-i-o-n
years of evolution? I think we got longevity on our side. ;)

Besides religions are born and die all the time, so perhaps we are
seeing the last days of Christianity --or the last days of the rule of
the Devil, depends how you want to look at it.

Yes because God made Eve perfect to match Adam's anatomy.

Though the gays tend to disagree with this argument. But the gays pose
a great question mark in the whole act of creation...

Yes, that makes a lot of sense.

I pronounce HUMANISM the winner against evil.

There are NOT two categories : Men and Women

There are Men on one end of the spectrum and Women on the opposite
end; and then there are an infinite (seemingly so) variety of degrees
in between.
It is rare when one gets to define themselves, it is much more often
that others (govt's, churches, etc.) do the defining, reasonably,
justly, practically, other.

If a snake spoke to me, I'd better pay attention. First of all, snakes
never talk. Secondly, the snakes tells me to take it, so it's not
stealing. Thirdly, I'd want to be wise, which was the excuse of the
serpent. So even if Eve was dumb, she wanted to have knowledge and
that's quite a way to go. So a smart God would have given her high
praise instead of dooming her AND humanity to deat and suffering.

Well, after being dumb he blamed Eve for his own mistake, and cursed
humanity for a very minor offense.

I think even the Devil is smarter and higher than that. It sounds like
he wanted to test God to see if he was really good, and God came out
really bad. Then Eve and us have been pawns in this celestial game
between two champions of chess. God could have won a long time ago,
but it's giving time for humanity to suffer some more before making
the final move...

But maybe God will make another dumb move and lose the game. ;)

I thought the categories were: STRAIGHT, BI, HOMO AND HE-SHE.

Those he-shes deny all creation, for sure.

Really? But many Christians ACT more Satanic than Christian.

So the snake was really the first lawyer and Genesis
was a plea-bargain?

oh, sweetie, you should really learn when it's time to stop
talking. "What a dumb god we have?" Who has...did you ask
anyone?

God's just fine....the devil, I dunno, no reason why I should.
Don't tell....state your opinion, if you must. All the information is
pretty much outh there, there's not much new to present. Don't lash
out....God knows what the devil's up to, as well many of us know.
It's a piece of piss.

Don't tell....it's unseemly....

I think the Christians do the jury duty for God and claim he's
innocent while we are the plaintiff party. Then they hire the snake to
defend him.

In my philosophy, you better know what's going on in the jungle. We
live in a democracy and want to know more about our invisible gods.

For example, does God work? How he occupies his time? Does he have a
wife? I'd imagine someone with a beard, not unlike Fidel Castro, whose
life is a complete mystery.

But the Devil would be someone like Bush, who's mostly retired after
having done his job...
