The arts, which contribute much richness to society, are also sometimes
an important thought-provoking expression of human solidarity and
struggle. Artists often share their perspectives and impressions with
the world through the labours of their masterpieces, but it is not so
often that we get the pleasure to see the creative processes in action.

I found the following video to be of particular interest because it
shows one very fine example of this creative process, but with a
fascinating twist -- the results of the right and left brains working
together as an artist draws using both his hands almost simultaneously:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EJj1Qqqebh8

The artist creates a beautiful "double-feature" caricature of the two
main characters who acted in that great movie about certain travesties
of justice The Shawshank Redemption, Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman,
using one pencil in each hand. (The music played during the video is
also wonderfully enjoyable to listen to.)

I hope this video will be interesting to you too.

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is
the source of all true art and all science. He [or she] to whom this
emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt
in awe, is as good as dead: his [or her] eyes are closed."

I'm amazed. I had to stick around and view several others. This one
kept me guessing until it was time for the facepalm.

Thanks for posting.

Same for me, but as soon as I saw "we go one god more" I knew it was an
advertisement about atheism, and then seeing the word "atheism" at the
very end perfected it.

You're welcome. I hope the producer will make more ads like it.

I'm sorry, I thought I was responding to the "atheist advertisement"
video, here:

It's getting really late and I've had a long day. (Darn it, it sure is
frustrating not being perfect!)

Thanks. Lovely drawings. They reminded me of the portraits and
drawings
Pat Roberts did for my fanzine Kessel Run. I loved one drawing of Han
Solo
so much that I bought it.
