Religious art linked to pedophilia

A believer in "subliminal advertizing" is now claiming that religious
artwork is being used (presumably by "Satan") to brainwash people into
a life of pedophile rape or something. Basically it's a rehash of the
old and debunked belief that subliminal messages in advertizing can
alter human behavior.
Is this a legitimate excuse for the pandemic rape of children among
Christian clergy all across the world, maybe? Is this an attempt to
"explain" how it's not really the fault of Christianity but of some
evil, demonic cabal of "Satanists" to secretly and Satanically program
Christian clergy to rape boys?
