So I ended up getting Rayman for the PlayStation a number of years ago,
and fired it up again last night (after playing some BattleMorph, which was
better than I remembered).

I wonder, how do the two versions of Rayman compare -- PSX vs. Jaguar?
Would it be worth getting the Jaguar cartridge version instead of or
in addition to the PSX disc?

I found the RayWiki, and neither it, nor the Wikipedia article, really
talk much about the differences. (Some level diffs, but that's it,
it sounds like.) How is it gameplay- and graphics-wise?

(Of course, the real deal will end up being: how much will it cost to
buy it on cart. ;) )

Personally I liked the Jaguar version better, but it lacks some intros or
something I think. I did like the riding part better in Jag version ... A
good Jag cart I think

My little girl and oldest son loves that game. The animations keep drawing
them back, again and again. :)

For me and Rayman... I think after playing Rayman 3 on the GBA that Rayman
kicks some serious butt.

The Jaguar version is good too. I hear the Jaguar version was only missing
some intros, and the color was not quite as a sharp on the Jaguar. But then,
it was originally designed for the Jaguar and to be released on the Jaguar
first. Kinda cool.

Either way, Rayman on the Jaguar IS worth it.
