'Simple' calcs for Marine Navigation

G'day
I'm looking at writing a simple sight reduction program for my own use and
wonder if anyone has the formulea for calculating a stars SHA and Declination,
and also the Greenwich hour Angle of Aries given a base set of data ie.
Base Date and Time
GHA Aries at base date/time
SHA and DEC for the 57 Nav stars at base date and time.

It seems that GHA Aries is a simple progression of 15.0410684.... degrees per
hour (or have I over simplified it?)
The SHA and Dec for the stars however don't follow a linear progression
Any help would be greatly appreciated
