other hand Jupiter IC runs through Halifax Canada, and Puerto Rico too. I
have been as close to it as Boston and my associations with that area have
been extremely good. Except for the cold climate of Boston, I would relocate
there. Except for the lack of computer jobs in Puerto Rico, I would relocate
there. I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area,
very close to Uranus IC, it is very interesting here
I can be wild as I want here, but also divorce has happened (got married
near Venus Descending, Connecticut, to lazy indulgent beautiful wife)
and I lost my house in the divorce ("houses may self-destruct" says Jim Lewis)
and my ex let it foreclose.
However, in my natal chart, Saturn is well aspected, while Jupiter doesnt have
any significant good aspects. I tend to think that relocating to lines ruled
by a well aspected planet in a natal chart is not a wise thing especially
if that planet happens to be Saturn, given my actual
experience with Saturn places. At this point in time I want to own a house,
and really settle down, and I dare not repeat the mistake of buying in
California where Uranus IC runs through. Should I buy vacation property in
Puerto Rico/San Thomas, Jupiter IC) you think?
and work near Sun MH lines such as Phoenix? and find a lover in Connecticut
again! Currently, I seem to be getting good professional attention in
Singapore near where Jupiter MH runs through, also SA Asc close by.
Relocating out of such an interesting place ruled by Uranus is hard. By the
way I have Jupiter Descending in Hawaii, would I get lucky marrying a Hawaiian?
Should I write a book in Hawaii, or enter into partnerships there?

If by "partnerships" you imply business partnerships, the I must inform
you that we have a record-high rate of business failures and bankruptcies
here in Hawaii. Also, most pure Hawaiians -- if any are left -- are now
our senior citizens; you must mean part-Hawaiian, right?
As far as writing books is concerned, I can't think of too many places
that are better than here. I would strongly recommend it if astrological
and other factors are consistent with the suggestion.

My cousin had good experiences moving to her Saturn MH line.
She went from being wild and irresponsible to working hard
and taking on responsibilities -- success through hard work.
Here on the west coast, where she grew up, she has Pluto IC,
Uranus IC, Jupiter IC, and Sun IC. She likes it here, and
is considering moving back, but has had many bad experiences
as well as good experiences here -- an exciting life.

Halifax is actually quite a cool city (and *very* cool in winter!).
It has quite a bit of cultural activity, but is sufficiently small
to be comfortable.

Marc Penfield has a new book on relocation, called Bon Voyage.
I haven't read it, but I heard him give a talk on the subject,
and I learned something new that might be useful to you. He
says that you should consider not just conjunctions with angles,
but all major aspects to angles. (ACS sells maps showing lines
for each major aspect to an angle from each natal planet.) So
if you have trouble finding a place that looks favourable for
both work and love (for example) using just conjunctions with
angles, you might try looking for a place where, say, the Sun
is trine the MC and Venus is sextile the descendant -- some
such combination.

observed in this forum before. Today, the Hawaiian and part-Hawaiian people
are involved in a struggle to achieve the basic human rights from a suppressive
government and are quite sensitive to the prejudiced worldview certain
individuals (as exemplified in the irresponsible remark made by McPherson) and
institutions continue to propagandize. This practice is highly counter-productive
to the basic tenets of equality, human dignity and rights that the United
States and the entire world is striving to achieve.
McPherson has apologized before in this forum for publicly, improperly
labeling other individuals and insulting them. It appears that another
such opportunity has arisen.

I really do not interpret McPherson's comment that way. He was merely
pointing out the symbolism of Jupiter, that it has a connection with
overweight people and to the fact that getting married to an optimistic
jolly person is a possibility! He certainly did not say Hawaiians are fat,
it could mean that the person I meet with could have that tendency at that
location, that person could be from ANY nationality or race. And with
Jupiter one should never jump into things with blind optimism.

claim that Maggie was suggesting that fat and jolly were bad, not to
mention the even greater leap that native Hawaiians tend to exhibit
such traits. I think one would have to harbor such thoughts oneself

Gee, sorry you always misread postings; I said, "thanks for promoting my

Also, I am a self-employed professional Astrologer. When I first signed on
