> am feeling cheap, haha. Is this report worth the 50 big ones?
IIRC, it works out to a buck a page and there's lots of writing on each
page and it's all packaged nicely.

Horary for "Will he come back?"
She never paid and when I asked her to pay, she retorted bluntly "Go
find yourself a job!"
You seem not to understand what it is to make an astrological report,
even when it does *not* fulfill the expectations in terms of
"correct/incorrect", which you didn't mention, I know.
May I ask you what do you feel should be the right fee for such a
merchandise?

Years ago I ordered one of these and was very disappointed to find out
that the chart reading was computer-generated and impersonal...
meaning, you could just as easily go to a website or open up an
astrology book with Aspect interpretations, meaning of planets in Signs
& Houses, and list them one after the other to make up a booklet.
Without the human touch, all the info felt disjointed.
I've gotten a few computer generated reports with conflicting info
"you have saturn in virgo, you're a shy person"and "your leo ascendent
makes you live out loud" type of stuffery. I'm taking it that since no
one replied no, it's probably a good report.
So, thanks.. in a way.
I am of course a bit biased.
But why not try a sample like
http://www.astro.com/samples/pdf/ph2e.pdf
There are more samples at the astro.com website (homepage, left column,
report samples)
Surely, you will not find any cookbook material in these reports.
It cannot be replaced by getting some astrology text and assembling
something yourself.

People expect to find in a celebrity sample that persona described which
the 'celebrity person' projects into the world through the media.
That persona (greek for 'mask') is often exactly a mask, instead of
being the real person.
However, a report like Liz Greene's psychological horoscope does
describe something like how a person feels inside, and that may often be
quite different from the image he/she shows the world.
So, take celebrity samples with a grain of salt. What I can assure you:
we do not fake them, or rewrite them.
PS.2
Apparently it was late last night, 3.30 am, and I forgot to put an
important reference into my answer. A long while ago, I did an interview
about the creation of the 'Psychological Horoscope' together with Liz
Greene.
I still think that it answers a lot of possible question about the kind
and quality of our work, even when this interview is 17 years old.

Computer Astrology with Artificial Intelligence
It is helpful to know that 'expert systems' and 'artificial
intelligence' where some of the great buzzwords of computer science in
the 80ies, and more was expected from this field of science and
engineering than finally was achieved. Still, nobody has gone that
techology path in astrological computer modelling after Liz Greene and
me, and our results are quite unique and, I humbly think, outstanding.

I've had the true computer print-out (short paragraphs printed on a
matrix printer) and the Liz Greene version. The latter is much better
written, and the interpretation is detailed and specific. I was
impressed by how Liz Greene and her staff had managed to put a
computer-generated chart interpretation together to something quite
personal, even taking into account the interactions in the chart, which
most computer-generated interps don't do.
That said, if you have enough astrological sources and get to know your
own chart, you won't need reports. But, if you want your chart looked at
by a professional and can't actually go see one, Liz Greene's report is
the best of its kind. You'd be getting a teaching tool and reference
from a highly respected and talented astrologer.
RM: I don't want to unnecessarily bring religion into a discussion
about Astrodienst, but when I saw your post I immediately thought of a
saying in the New Testament which said something like "By their fruits
you shall know them".
