Anyway, I just wondered what outer planet transit patterns may have
occurred earlier this century; and who might have been born to a natal
chart featuring something like a grand square. So, starting at 1,1,1900
run Astrolog's "animate" routine and watched for such an aspect figure
to appear. The first comes at December 1909/January 1910. Using a web
search engine to find a biography for some notable person born at that
time, I found this guy:

Note that natal Uranus does not knock this fella's "chair" over, like it
apparently does in the case of my brother's chart:

Comment to all-- I just rejected a post in this thread for being offtopic, but Ray's post adds a piece of information to the previous posts. However, could we all please agree to discuss this topic from an *astrological* perspective?

Kwaw,
Yeah...Manson sure seems like a case of raw horoscopic
expressionism--a pouring and splattering with wall
to wall Self *stuff*--a two legged a Jackson Pollock painting. The
problem I personally have with society, or all of humanity perhaps, is
that too few of us seem to understand the dynamic psyche and its
confinement--a frustrated genie in the bottle type mythological
existence inside the facilitating and imprisoning skull of the isolated
soul.
Perhaps it is my age, (life begins at 50?) or maybe more the product
of an earnest effort on my part, but I understand now why and how the
devoutly religious (however defined) regularly report their perception
of a suffering soul in a Charlie Manson. Apparently the priestly among
us truly can and do have a large quantity of compassion afforded them by
that deeper understanding and appreciation of human beings--this curious
admixture of the sacred and the profane (perhaps the failing of a
creator to faithfully reproduce his own likeness in a spec of flesh and
bone).
How like the separation of church and state, we should probably
never confuse the mortal ego--its more or less willed acts and
objectives, with the actual soul of an individual. This seems true
regardless of any given person or circumstance.
I worked with a man who went to grade school with Charlie. I got
the picture that he was a pathetic little thing--a hollow eyed,
mentally slow, dirt poor reject, with whom no child kept company. From
an astrologers viewpoint, we should probably see Manson's soul coming
through any o'l way that it can--the spirit twisted into a demonic shape
by the
crudeness of its available bio-social forms, and circumstances. Of
course
reason dictates that we should at all times remember that astrology is,
though a wonderful art, only a crude, general, mapping of the
individual soul. Astrology's system is about as imperfect as any of our
attempts to read the mind of the universe (scientifically or otherwise).
But, yes, doesn't seem that the natal grand cross was hell bent on being
expressed? I'm am fairly sure that this so...that is to say, I am
completely at peace with this idea at present.
As for what particular bit of astrological information that this
case provides, my experience tells me that natal Mars is being projected
in this way because Charlie only has two very tight aspects in his
chart; Mar-conj-Neptune, and Mars-Ses-Uranus.
The action is between Mars in Virgo and Aries, Uranus near the Asc.
It occurs to me that a cross cut into one's actual "forehead" is
*too high on the skull* to be anatomically correct as a true parallel of
the Zodical placement Of Uranus late Aries...and Taurus, not Aries
on the Asc (--Jaw, and throat?) But, rather than merely accusing
Charlie's bit of body art of being as faulty as his political ideas, I
offer the
following view:
If man was constructed so that the lower portion of the face were
clearly more visible, more likely to be a place that attracts public
notice--like the cartoon jaw of Jay Leno, then Manson would have put
his "X" there--on the jaw or throat, instead of on the forehead.
Now, because astrology relies heavily on the same attribute/facility
of the psyche as that which is tapped by a jazz musician to intuitively
incorporate a minor 9th into the tune "Yankee Doodle" whenever he
likes...I want to *note* that I was here fortune enough to have
successfully played my little aspect lick in a truly harmonizing manor.
You see, while I was listening to the music of the sphere's, and to your
hearing post as a thematic chord to play against, I did hear the
sounding of chord--a line which crosses some portion of a circle....I
heard: "Natal Mars in Virgo--sequiquadrate (X)"
So now, look here at Jay Leno's tight (0*14") Sesquiquadrate
aspect of Mars in Virgo/Sun in Taurus (jaw):
http://www.geocities.com/pedantus/leno_jay.gif
What, beside gratifying myself, does this mean? It means, to me,
that it is entirely possible that someday in astrology's future there
will be Mozarts and Beethovens of astrology who can "hear" the aspects
of an individual's natal chart. Hell, if I can do it, anyone can...and
I'm sure some fella in the next century or so will think he invented
horoscopic expressionism...;)
Thanks, Kwaw..:)

REPLY: Heather, the breach itself was not in question.
It was the fact that the breach has occurred repeatedly (about 700
times approx. in 9 years).
Let me elaborate and keep a certain country's politics out of it to
avoid upsetting the moderator and stick to UN resolutions.
The UN has acted on those breaches - and so have some other (nameless
people + or countries) during that time on an ongoing basis.
I am not arguing for or against any UN enforcement, but I wish the
Iraqi people could have some peace.
I think that the best horoscope to use for this (ongoing) UN action is
the one for the signing of the agreement after hostilities ceased in
1991.

We really can look a George W. Bush as another ineffable soul that
was incidentally born on Sylvester Stallone's birthday..subject to the same
planet aspect urges.

================================
All Western political philosophy is apparently doomed to wander in a
featureless desert which lies between Plato's ideal "Forms" and
Aristotle's pragmatically defined "Substances". In the realm of the
myth dwelling psyche, Clinton's bad *form* is also Bush's *substance*
abuse. Clinton's imaginary Platonic relationship to women, who were in
fact sex objects, is not essentially different from Bush's Aristotelian
delusion which imagines that a lack of drugs and alcohol is proof of
one's sobriety.
Astrologers wander in that desert too; in Form, astrology is
hopelessly undefined, and in terms Substance it doesn't even exist.
There in the no man's land, encompassed by scientifically imposed no fly
zones, we can elect to thirst in the trackless searing dunes...following
mirages; or, suffer chronic dysentery due to the water fouling
parasites that we cannot avoid the pointless forest.
However, if we take astrology for the inspired Art that it truly
seems to be, then we can see Bush's presidency as an unconsciously
motivated fleshing out of his myth of selfhood...his behavior as the
theater of self projection...all of which presents us with a
Aristotelian Self portrait in a medium called, "substantive" matters.
Myself, being a pre-revolution geo-centrist, I believe it is the
Sun--the vital will of a man, that actually runs circles around the
Earth and all its substantive matters. Unaware of its unconscious
orbiting, the deluded and habituated Will never ceases claiming to
observe some political spin from region to region, as these pass beneath
him--such is the perspective from this ironically well anchored,
unmoved, and immovable, isolated vantage point somewhere well above it
all (and held up there by god only knows what).
Astrology can tap the psyche's less ego-based images. The Muses
offer these to us by way of the devout (much more Platonically aligned)
writers and graphic artists. Artists born on the same day as George W.
Bush can help us to get a glimpse of the shared collective archai of the
Self's *archi-tecture*. The different natives of that birthday can be
seen as examples of the themes and their manifested variations.
Though it is probably not flattering to President Bush, the
internet resources seem to have confined me to alternatives like
Sylvester Stallone (whose work needs no introduction) and one, Jamie
Wyeth, a son of Andrew Wyeth.
http://www.jamiewyeth.com/biography.html
"[..]He won precocious fame, in fact, with Portrait of Pig, his picture
of a pink and white sow.[..]"
http://www.jamiewyeth.com/pig.html
Bush, like Wyeth, is born to a family dedicated to *realism*. For
the artist at least, realism only a matter of rendering images in a
formal style--only a technique not a matter in itself. So, when Wyeth
paints an actual self portrait, what does it look like...is it
photographic in its realism? Does he paint a very formal mirror image
of himself? No, he offer's a caricature:
http://www.jamiewyeth.com/jw.html
"[..]Jamie Wyeth displayed a recently completed self-portrait,
Pumpkinhead - Self Portrait, showing a scarecrow-like body topped with a
grinning pumpkin. [..]"
http://www.jamiewyeth.com/biography.html
Now if we add some strings to the above image, it could only improve
it as a representation of our collective perception of, "Dubbya"...:)
Not to mention Wyeth's portrait of a Pig does look as if Bush had
posed for it...a political campaign poster for Orwell's "Animal Farm" no
doubt ..:)
"NO PIGS (without sheets) SHALL SLEEP IN THE LINCOLN BEDROOM!"
