the 2nd house. Usually the former under harmonious aspects and the
latter under discordant; but not necessarily, as the natal
harmony/discord often tends to take precedence. In addition, there is
usually at least one harmonious progressed aspect, even if unrelated to
the 2nd house. Also, research has shown that under really enormous
monetary wins, Neptune is often involved. At first this seems odd, but I
suppose it has something to do with the dreamlike condition the winner
usually finds himself in. Neptune sometimes expresses as a "just too
good to be true" mode. The rulers of this native's 2nd are Sun, Mercury,
Pluto and Mars. Surprisingly, I haven't seen much of a connection to
the 5th house in big lottery wins, but that Mars is in the 5th didn't
hurt, I imagine.
I wasn't surprised, therefore, to find p. sun sextile p. Mars; p. ASC.
sextile p. sun; p.Asc. trine p. Mars and p. Venus sextile Neptune. All
that harmonious energy involving the house of money, plus the Neptune,
certainly made it a good time to buy a lottery ticket. BTW, does anyone
know the date and if possible, the approximate time he *purchased* the
winning ticket?

Place should be known from the newspapers. They publish the place from
which the ticket has been purchased.
BTW, I have right now, a natally weak Jup (in 12th, in Vir) transiting.
It made a con w Sun, and a trine w Ura, in 9th (house to do somewhat w
gambling, etc.) just in the last days. NADA!!! (((((((------(
Considering that said punk, Ura, is one of the rulers of 5th, I'm more
than disappointed.

Maybe if it's involved in a grand earth trine, that sort of thing.
Otherwise, I think it has more to do with ethical or moral qualities,
and a philosophical attitude that can be happy and feel content with
one's lot in life. In fact, "complacency" is a real keyword.
If you want to try for the big bucks, better go with good progressions
in general, and lots of activity involving the 2nd.
