Hi all,

I have been getting very interested in Jeffrey Wolf Green's
Evolutionary Astrology. A pantheistic belief in God is a central part
of my life. My religious/spiritual beliefs are Neopaganism,New
Age,and Unitarian Universalist. I want something deeper and
spiritual. Since 1998, I have been a believer in
reincarnation, pastlives, and karma. My favorite books on reincarnation
are the pastlife regression books by Dr. Brian L. Weiss. I am
interested in the reincarnation concept in Astrology, but I am
skeptical about certain concepts. Some astrologers focus on only the
south node as pastlives, and some say that Saturn is the karmic
planet. Some astrologers like Howard Shelton says that Pluto is the
karmic planet. Jeffrery Wolf Green says that Pluto is the soul. He
also believes that the planetary south nodes are pastlife indicators.
Barbara Hand Clow says that Chiron is the karmic planet. Some
astrologers say that 12th house is the karmic house and Pisces is the
karmic sign. Zane Stein said the whole chart is karmic, and I
actually agree with him. I can't see just part of the chart being
karmic. The Vedic Astrologers seem to think that the whole chart is
karmic, but they have numerous divisonal charts that they use including
especially with the Navamsha which is a 9th harmonic chart. I was
interested and studied Vedic Astrology for its strong karmic aspect
but I found it to be a bit fatalistic for me....even with my Ketu in
12th. I couldn't let go of the outerplanets....there is no way I
would reject my Moon in Pisces in 6th,Saturn in Gemini in 9th,Jupiter-
Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd t-square which I feel strongly reflects
my greatest challenge in life - my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia, and AD/HD along
with my multiethnic ancestry. I definitely feel my Pluto in 1st
quincunx Moon and contraparallel Sun.

I have read about Jeffrey Wolf Green's history and he told about his
past in his DVD on the planetary nodes. He talked about being sexually
molested by his mother until he was 6 years old. He talked about his
mother trying to murder him when he was 4 years old by trying to scald
him to death. I have been abused my mother, but never like he has. I
am just wondering can a person truly recover from so much trauma. Is
it possible that his trauma might have led to some type of
schizophrenia which can be the source of his writings. I am not
implying anything. I am just asking questions. I am very interested
in his work, but I am having reservations to because of his past, the
way he looks and sounds when he talks to people from what I see on the
DVD. Roger seems to think that he's nutty, and I am starting to
wonder myself. I was thinking about doing his Evolutionary
Correspondence Course which costs over 1,000 dollars. My girlfriend
thinks too much for something that I am not sure about. I agree with
her. I also wonder if I should buy any of his books. I have over 60
Astrology books, but none of them are written by him. He is friends
with Steven Forrest who is also into evolutionary Astrology. I have
Steven Forrest books including Inner Sky,Changing Sky,Pluto, and also
Skymates which he co-written with his wife,Jodie. I really like his
books. He is a bit poetic too. He seems kinda strange though. He
seems alright. I was wonder what people think of Steven Forrest
too...especially his association with Jeffrey Wolf Green with whom he
wrote 2 Evolutionary Astrology books with. I have an interest in
Transformational Astrology which is also karmic spiritual Astrology.

I find the planetary nodes fascinating. I am starting to wonder if my
strong interest in Astrology is reflected by my Uranus North Node in
Gemini in 10th as well as my Uranus South Node conjunct IC/oppose
Midheaven and square Ascendant. I also wonder about my Neptune South
Node conjunct Lunar North Node in Aquarius in 5th trine Midheaven in
Gemini have anything to do with my preference for a more spiritual
emphasis in Astrology. I did get very interested in Astrology for its
psychological insights. I have Sun,Mercury, and Venus in Scorpio along
with Moon quincunx Pluto. Now I think that my Eris in Aries in 8th
sextile Midheaven and biquintile Mercury also are an indicator too. I
know that my Chiron in Aries in 8th Sextile Midheaven and North Node
in Aquarius definitely does. Any ways....I am interested in
planetary south nodes in regards to karmic pastlife stuff, but I am
also open about it in regards to things in the past in the present
life used in a psychological way. Zipporah Dobbyns used the planetary
nodes. I read that a cosmobiologist does too. I read that planetary
nodes are a major concept in heliocentric Astrology. I have Earth
conjunct Eris North Node with only 10 minutes of arc. In geocentric
chart, my Sun is conjunct both geocentrical/heliocentrical Eris South
Node with the same arc. I feel that I can strongly relate to what
Zane Stein said about Eris. Hopefully, there will be a book on Eris
in 10 yrs. I also wonder about midpoints involving Eris. It will be
interesting to see what cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers do
with Eris.

any ways....I would like to get your opinions about Jeffrey Wolf Green
and Evolutionary Astrology.

I think Green copes well. Everything in our formative years leaves
life-long traces, and his are apparently pretty traumatic.

I think the whole chart shows past, present, and future. Having said
that, I don't think I'm intense because I'm a Scorpio. I think I'm a
Scorpio because I'm intense. After all, it's equally true to say that
'the stars are there because we're here' as it is to say 'we're here
because the stars are there'.

I know a few really successful people- as in, internationally-known.
One of them, in particular, has an extremely difficult chart,
reflected in an extremely difficult life. This person uses those early
experiences as fuel for their mission in life, and not in anger,
revenge, or justification. It works really well.

It's all about intention and expectation. If you expect to keep having
challenges from your maladies, according to most spiritual teachings
that seem valid to me, that will indeed be your 'karma'. IMO karma
isn't set it stone. It's a direct reflection of beliefs. Period.

Yeah..

I forgot to mention...that my greatest challenge is also my greatest
gift
If it wasn't for my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia, and AD/HD and the special
education/experiences that resulted from that as well as my
multiethnic background that help me believe in treating others like I
want to be treated, tolerance, acceptance, unity, and universal
love....overall Martin Luther King Jr's dream. Maybe I would have
been completely different if I was white and neurotypical. who
knows..but being multiethnic and neurodivergent is who and what made
me who I am in regards to my personality included my idealism.

there was a black evolutionary astrologer who did a chart of the first
African slaveship arrival in Jamestown,Virginia and he believed that
he is a slave during that time.

according to the chart, the slaveship chart's Eris is 2 minutes
conjunct my Midheaven.

The Sabian Symbol for that degree (12 Gemini) the conjunction is

A Negro Girl Fights For Her Independence In the City

keywords:
Rising above conditioning and limitations. Standing up one's self.
Demanding better treatment. Seeking recognition and self-respect.
Being in charge of one's life. Breaking away from oppression. Wanting
a raise in pay or conditions. The need for freedom. Desiring property
and rewards. Rising up from an "underdog" position or situation. The
quest for identity.

The Caution: Feeling hard done by. Being demanding. Blaming others.
Bucking authority. Demanding to be recognized or noticed. Feeling used
and abused. Oppression and slavery. Jealousy and envy. Exploitation.

It made me wonder if I was involving in that event as a slave or
somebody who participated in slavery.

maybe civil rights leaders, slaves, and people who have gone through
racism, prejudice, and bigotry have a pastlife history of being the
abuser in those things themselves.

I feel that my multiethnic ancestry and multicultural heritage, family
helped me not be racist, bigot, prejudiced person. helped me to believe
in unity and universal love.
The same with my special education, learning disabilities that helped
me learn the lessons of humility too. I don't believe that I am better
than anybody. in fact, I grew up with an inferiority complex. I am a
lot more secure in myself now after gaining self awareness from
reading Astrology and stuff about learning disabilities and getting
mine resolved. That's why I am not ashamed of my past now that I can
share it with others to help raise awareness of the issues that I and
many other people have dealt with.

I feel that t-square of my Moon in Pisces in 6th square Jupiter-
Neptune in Sagittarius and retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th reflects
all that.

I also checked the planetary nodes of Eris when I was born

the sabian symbol for the degree(6 degree Scorpio) that my Sun and
Eris South Node conjunct in is

A Gold Rush Tears People Away From Their Native Soul

Keywords: Strong desires to move on. The longing and the search for
the easy fulfillment of hopes and dreams. Leaving one's native soil.
Have a cause or mission to pursue. Leaving home, people, family.
Dropping everything to chase a project. Pilgrimages. The search for
riches. Immigration and migration. Listening to clues. The search for
the Holy Grail. Pursuing a better life.

The Caution: Chasing the impossible dream. Losing everything. Being
unrealistic or opportunistic. Not being content with what one's got.
The grass being greener else ware. Lusting after rewards that may be
unreal or transitory. Risking what one has what one could have. Wild
goose changes.

Eris North was in and still is in 6 degree Taurus Sabian Symbol

Keywords: Overcoming distance and separation. Endeavoring to build
continuity. Solving problems with creative solutions. Bridging
emotional chasms. Spanning gaps. Breaking down barriers. Structures
spanning distances between places or people. Conquering time and space
barriers. Physical limitations overcome. Taking one step at a time.
Avoiding looking down.

The Caution: Taking the long way round to avoid asking for help. Using
shortcuts to cut across the real issue. Only seeing the risks, not the
solutions to problems. The fear of establishing connections. The
pervading sense that it could all fall though at any moment. Extreme
sports.

I do feel that my main purpose in life is to be an activist, advocate
of equal, human, civil rights for people with neurodivergent
developmental disorders and minorities.

There is a strong chance that USA might have the first woman president
or the first nonwhite president in 2008 elections. This would fit
right in with Eris.

I definitely feel Pluto and Ceres becoming equals along with Eris as
dwarf planets in Astronomy because of Eris' discovery can signify
equal rights which I believe is one of Eris' symbolisms.
