Juno.com terminated my account for unspecified offenses. Customer
Service referred me to Legal and I have yet to hear back. Obviously
someone else is at fault. Possibilities:
1. Someone felt, two or three years back, that a posting libeled
him. Kinda late to take a swing, I'd say. Anyway, he posted under an
assumed name. I doubt that Mr. Real Name was libeled by remarks about
Mr. Assumed Name.
2. In private e-mails I have discussed another person's
transgressions against me. Her actions probably constituted
harassment within the meaning of the law. I wonder if she could have
received such a forwarded message amd claimed damage to her business
reputation.
3. On three occasions, eBay has sent notice about dissatisfacton with
a transaction. I have never had an eBay transaction. I told eBay so
and invited eBay to call me in business hours. They never did so.

Hello David Ames:
here is a way to trace such e-mailers:
go to: www.DNSstuff.com
it will give you their real IP number and the location (city).
If being harassed and you might need to ask authorities for
assistance, this will give an investigator a link to go
from there.
BTW: someone posted this info in a political ng and the
vile harassments stopped :)
Good luck and
be well,
I. R. Heller
BTW: Yes your juno server sent mail back a "undeliverable"
Change your server, who needs such headache.
Go to hotmail or yahoo, or such.

Hi David,

I hope you'll hear back from Juno.com as to why they would do
that. About ebay - I've also gotten weird notices about
transactions that never took place. I'm not sure if they were
legitimate ebay messages, they might have been forgeries.
Spammers will steal an email address to send spam from and/or
also sometimes people will use a known email address fraudulently
in other ways.

So it's possible that Juno.com closed your account for a reason
like that, rather than the other reasons.

I haven't found ebay to be particularly helpful when I've
contacted them about the messages I got. They sent a form letter
instead of a real response.

I hope this all gets ironed out and you'll find out what the
reason is - I'd think they'd be obligated to tell you.

I don't know how many people here are into horary except Todd and
me (although I am extremely rusty at it and re-learning now and I
don't know if I can trust myself to do a decent job with it) but
we would need to know an exactly worded question, time and date
you ask it, and location, of course.
