Now, I'm just a hapless hobbyist and all so maybe I just missed it, but
I've never seen Apron Man identified. He's the tubby black man wearing the
apron, and can be seen with his taller friend in the Zapruder film,
applauding as the president passes by, as if he doesn't even realize the
president is passing by. You know the guy I'm talking about. Well, he's in
the Bronson film, he and his friend. When Bronson films the pickup of the
epileptic by ambulance 606, at 12:23- 12:25 PM, Apron Man is standing near
the corner of Main and Houston. It's as if he planned to watch the
president turn the corner onto Houston and then run across the park to see
him again on Elm. Just like Altgens and Charles Brehm said they did. And,
not coincidentally, or for this group, "happenstancedly," both Charles
Brehm and James Altgens can also be seen in this short clip, all are
standing in the vicinity of Main and Houston 5-7 minutes before JFK tools
by.
I think it is kewl that Bronson's film documents that Altgens and Brehm
were there, supporting what they said they did, but weird that Apron Man
did the same thing. I can't picture this obese laid back-seeming guy
running from Houston Street to Elm just to get a second look at the
president whom he doesn't even seem to notice is passing him on Elm. I
just think it is weird, even if Apron Man did not shoot JFK. Can I say
that? Or I have to prove that Apron Man butchered hogs for Fidel?
