The most serious allegation made by Laura in her manuscript (but not
apparently referred to by Gaeton in his report) describes an attempt by an
Oswald imposter to fool Laura into believing he was Oswald, shortly after
LHO's second daughter was born. Ms. Kittrell identified the man allegedly
posing as LHO at her office as Curtis Craford, aka Larry Crafard, the
handyman who was working for Jack Ruby. I contacted Curtis at his home in
Oregon after sending him the article, and he emphatically denied ever
posing as Oswald, and stated to me that he was far too self-conscious
(because of some missing teeth) to have ever "laughed out loud" as
described by Ms. Kittrell.
Amazingly, Ms. Kittrell's name is not listed in any JFK index that I know
of, including Walt Brown's Global Index, and Mary Ferrell was not familiar
with her name, nor had it in her index.
I most bizarre story. It's too bad that Laura is no longer alive (having
died last year according to the Social Security Death Index). - Peter

John Armstrong uses Kittrell as a crucial witness for his "Harvey and Lee"
scenario. That was the first I'd ever heard of her.

>I'll have to re-read Armstrong's articles (which I recall you drew from
Dave in your own reports on the Armstrong thesis). I did learn from Bill
Weston in our e-mail correspondence of late that Bill has been in contact
with Armstrong since first getting intrigued by Kittrell's allegations.
The lack of feedback on my posting is disappointing. Maybe no one has
read Bill's article (TFD was only going out to a few hundred researchers
in the last few years, down from around 1000 at the time of Stone's
movie.) - Peter
