The ruler actually goes slightly beyond the alleged hole near the cowlick.

Is it possible that the location of the entrance wound is actually between
the two fingers?

Now we're going into the boondocks! The 2 drawings are approximately
right to show the difference between the head wound at Parkland, and then
later at Bethesda at the autopsy. And the only time there was an
opportunity to change the wound was at 6:35pm at Bethesda when the body
arrived and was placed in the morgue and Humes and Boswell were witnessed
working clandestinely on the head.

The right hand picture is one of the Ida Dox drawings, and I will show
you the photo that it was made from. Notice that the REAL photo has NO
bullet wound like the drawing has:

And before you begin to center on the little 'red spot' near the
cowlick, here's Humes commenting about that:

"Gazing together at the photograph showing the all but unblemished rear of

“I don’t know what that [red spot] is. No. 1, I can assure
you that as we reflected the scalp to get to this point, there was no
defect corresponding to this in the skull at any point. I don’t
know what that is. It could be to me clotted blood. I don’t, I
just don’t know what it is, but it certainly was not any wound of
entrance.”

You're not trying hard enough. I've heard kooks claim that the entrance
wound was UNDER the ruler and that the autopsy doctors were using the
ruler to hide it as a misdirection.

Good try, but this does not win the prize for the most inane post about
the ruler. The one I like best was about claiming that ruler was only in
centimeters.
