He had obtained a job as a car salesman at the dealership just one
month before the assassination. His job references from New Orleans were
later were discovered to be phony. LAWRENCE never sold a car.
On the day before the assassination, he had borrowed one of the
firm's car, after telling his boss he had a "heavy date."
On Friday, November 22, LAWRENCE failed to show up for work. However,
about 30 minutes after the assassination, he came hustling through the
company's show room, pale and sweating with mud on his clothes. He rushed
into the men's room and threw up. He told co-workers he had been ill that
morning, tried to drive the car back to the dealership but had to park it
due to the heavy traffic.
Later, employees found the car parked behind the wooden picket fence
on top of the Grassy Knoll overlooking Dealey Plaza.
His activities were so suspicious that employees called police, who
picked up LAWRENCE that evening.
LAWRENCE, who reportedly was an expert marksman in the Air Force,
left Dallas after being released the next day.

Dear Don, while most of what you have posted has been published
previously, a lot of it is totally untrue, and you should familiarize
yourself with the most recent research on Jack Lawrance, as published in
the Fourth Decade magazine.
Jack Lawrence, who was originally from West Virginia, is a very
interesting character/player, who supported JFK in the West Virginia
primary but lost his politically appointed job when the Democrats won. He
might have info on how JFK, with the help of Sam Gianciana and Skinny
D'Amato, won the W.V. primary against Hubert Humphrey in the vote that
destroyed the myth that a Catholic could not win the election.
Lawrence stopped in Dallas looking for employement, after working
for a defense electronics firm in Florida. He stayed at the YMCA, where
Ozzie also reportedly stayed when he first returned from Mexico City and
where Jack Ruby worked out in the gym. He did sell cars, and had a company
car on the night before the assassination, where he claims to have spent
the night in a piano bar in North Dallas, not far from Campisi's Egyptian
Lounge, while Beverly Oliver remembers dancing with him at the Cabana
hotel lounge while Ruby and Larry Meyers talked at a table.
Lawrence did notify authorities about Oswald or an impersonator
taking a test drive from the dealership, and he was fired because of that.
While he did not testify at the time of the HSCA, he has been located by
independent researchers, is now a preacher, and will be called to testify
under oath when official proceedings begin once again.

Jim Garrison's office interviewed Lawrence at length and scoured the record for
leads on him. They came up with nada.
Anyone want to accuse Garrison's office of covering up conspiracy leads? \:^)
