Judyth Baker is now apparently associated with a Facebook page in the name
of David William Ferrie, and it is filled with misinformation.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/David-William-Ferrie/258217287627878

"This poem was on David Ferrie's dining room table in May, 1963. It is not
in Dave's handwriting, but the coffee stains were his! A woman named
Theresa, Ferrie said, had written the poem. They had conversed over
coffee." Accompanied by a picture of a poem. this is not a genuine
article, and it was not found on Ferrie's dining room table in May 1963.
(This is much like the alleged "Ferrie lecture notes," which are also not
authentic.)

"Ferrie's dead body was discovered by his landlord." Ferrie's body was
discovered by his young friend, who then summoned the man downstairs.
(BTW, the boy had been reporting to Garrison's office as Agent 1 for the
prior few weeks.)

"This typed letter has a typed signature. The concern is that it could
have been typed by anyone both a good education and with access to
Ferrie's typewriter. Letter was written to Dave's adult lover." 21 years
old at the time of Ferrie's death. The letter contains references to
shared events with the young man which would have been hard for another
person to know. I've spoken with the young man. The image of this letter,
BTW, comes from me.

"On money obtained from Mafia chieftain Carlos Marcello, they opened a gas
station together not too long after the Kennedy assassination." Ferrie
earned part of the money as an investigator for Marcello's attorney, and
the rest came from a grievance settlement against an airline, as well as
other sources.

"Davie in happier times with his mother and brother." He was not called
Davie, and this is not a picture of his mother and brother. When I first
saw it on Mellen's website, I thought it was; but shortly after, I got a
full set from Ferrie's trip, and the woman is seen wearing a CAP uniform.
And just after that, I obtained pictures from his family, and this is not
his mother and brother.

"David Ferrie lost his job as a pilot of big planes with Eastern Air Lines
due to his problem of having a sexual attraction for teenaged boys,
especially boys whose fathers were absent or dead." The last phrase about
fathers was gratuitously thrown in to make a better fit with Oswald.
Nearly all whom Ferrie considered friends had two parents.

"David W. Ferrie's Stinson," which I located.

"Dave Ferrie met Dr. Mary Sherman at the Crippled Children's Hospital when
he brought toys from a Parish Christmas Toy Drive to children there who
were suffering from polio. She was doing the same thing, and they became
friends." This is not true. Again, more gratuitous "inside info."

"Jim Garrison was aware of their friendship; it was also reported in John
H. Davis' book Mafia Kingfish, and was verified in Edward T. Haslam's
book, Dr. Mary's Monkey: more than one witness has come forward with the
same information." Garrison never cited a source; Davis based it on
Garrison's Playboy interview; Haslam, whose book is virtually all
speculation, never actually cited a verifiable source for a Ferrie-Sherman
relationship. None of the acquaintences of Ferrie I have interviewed have
any recollection of Sherman by name, description or photo, and some say
misogynist Ferrie was not likely to work with a woman doctor. Another
person, researching Sherman, has found no evidence to link the two. Unless
some other verifiable witness to such a relationship comes forward, is
must be classified as an unproven allegation.

More to come as more stuff is posted the Facebook page.

Good to see you posting solid information to correct the BS, as usual.

Interesting that somebody is researching Sherman.

It would be good if that person can shed some light on her death. Of
course, some murder cases are never ever solved: a stranger attacked a
random person and left no solid evidence.

But we can hope.

There is a new book on the murder of Mary Cord Meyer called Mary's
Mosaic which points to a CIA hit and cover-up.
Even the death of John Paisley is suspicious and hints at a KGB hit to
prevent him from identifying their mole in US intelligence.
