Now, for all of the people that are throwing around this "A+" and "Epic"
crap, ask yourself a question... if the FIGHT SCENES (which the
Directors and Producers are putting all their chips on, hoping to *draw*
audience's) were not in the film, where do you think this film would
be... remember, *without* the Fight Scenes in it...
On the *straight to fuckin' video* shelves, that's where!!!

Are you speaking to people in this NG or the critics out there?
I've been here for a while, and I haven't seen anybody
who claims that CTHD is an "Epic" and uses "A+" grading scale
to evaluate CTHD. But maybe I missed those posts.

Actually, maybe 100 less screens on the opening weekend. Saw it today
and enjoyed it. Compared to the better work of King Hu or even
something more juvenile like RETURN OF THE BASTARD SWORDSMAN, it pales,
but it is a welcome relief to see this type of movie on the big screen
again. I'm hoping it inspires Denver's Mayan Theater to run some King
Hu flicks for midnight shows instead of those geeky anime movies
they've been unspooling for the past month.
