I just got back from watching this the second time (I had seen the work
print of video a month back) and I have a splitting headache. It's
probably from all of the jaw clenching and cringing I did while watching
"The Replacement Killers." I managed to bring 4 people along with me.
Almost everyone in the theater seemed to hate it. People were restless
and shifting in their seats. Worst of all people were laughing during
many of the scene that are played straight. I felt so bad. Chow
Yun-Fat is a personable actor and this just wasn't a good start for
him. When the people laughed I almost took it personally. Fat is my
favorite actor, and I hope this movie doesn't turn people off to any
future films with him.

What an idea: take the most personable actor in the world and put him in
a humorless role.

Damn those people! they should have laugh at you wearing a wrong pair of
sock instead!

I had the same experience. Last time when I saw Liar Liar, everyone was
laughing. I mean movie audience have no right to laugh whenever they want.

You should take it personally like you did on everything else! Go for it,
burn dowm their houses!

Here is an idea you can kill two birds with one stone. Go out and buy all
the tickets from all of the theaters you can reach, so nobody would able to
see the film ...hence no one would laugh, and you could contribute
something to the boxoffice.

Agree. Fat should refuse to act in any film until you have read the script
and approved!

A $10,000,000 sweepstakes would be nice.
