The signature of the person who drew the picture.
I did a little search, and found Prudence's web page:

Maybe she made both the handle and the head (there were a lot of people
who made PEZ heads to go with that handle).

Hey Veronica can we use some of your art work on our tees?
No. Make your own!
Maybe if you offered a share of the profits you might have more luck
convincing artists to allow the use of their work commercially.
So if a T-shirt sells really well , more money is given to the artist that
made the artwork used on it , and if it doesn't sell so well , the artist gets
less. This would motivate the artist to create works that sell well.
Wow. What a greate idea! Why didn't they think of that before?

He does. I looked around for 3 years to find a way to get high
quality silk screening done for ASCII shirts. Every option I came up
with was going to be at least $300. Some places charged $50 for the
screen and wouldn't do less than 144 shirts but would do them for only
$3 each. There was endless variety but one thing remained: I couldn't
get it done for less than $300 no matter how I worked it unless I was
willing to move a screen press into my apartment.
So here comes keystroketshirts offering a small amount of the sales
in exchange for taking care of all the investment, production,
shipping and inventory issues. And as icing on the cake I know that
since they are specializing in ASCII art shirts they aren't going to be
using cheap paint that will wash off after 15 washes or have such
large tolerances on their screens that the individual ASCII characters
get distorted because of crap production values.
Which is why as of 3 days ago I have had a variation of one of my
designs up for sale on their site:
http://www.keystroketshirts.com/ascii/dream-in-ascii-fullView.php#
I opted for the least profit and least level of involvement in the
process. If I started going bulk orders and keeping my own inventory
and shipping it myself I could make a lot more. But for now I am
content to let them do all the hard work.

SNIP long rant
How did you find out about this ?
I mean .. it doesn't say so on the website and he hasn't posted anything about
it in the group.
I asked. When they posted the thing about reviewing their new website
design not too long ago I replied and asked about using my art to make
some shirts and maybe even some money.
