It is freaking amazing what you people can twist ascii into. Much props
to you all.

But seriously, how?

Are you artistic in other mediums as well? Which ones?

Just some Q's from a fan.

G'day Sinner!

I was thinking the same thing but haven't asked yet.

This site shows a movie of creation of one piece of ascii art which I
found interesting and cool:

Very funny :-/

But it didn't show how it was made. It's just an animation.

I'm sure thats wrong (though ment to be funny)

I'm sure it was while he was drinking
That he wrote what he was thinking
On the paper, his lamenting
His loss of sweet Lenore

In the bar he sat in sorrow
Not once for him a morrow
Nothing he could beg or borrow
To restore his sweet Lenore

The best tool (IMHO) for AA is Jave.

http://www.jave.de

Give it a try (it's free), you'll be an ASCII artist before you know
it.

Creando una Jarra:

iniciamos con la forma basica:
.--------.
\ /
) (
/ \
,' `.
/ \
/ \
( )
\ /
`. ,'
-hrr- `.________,'

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\ /
) ( ___
/ \',-.\
,' `. ))
/ \'/
/ \
( )
\ /
`. ,'
-hrr- `.________,'

y Finalmente Adornamos o verificamos detalles:

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\.'`'. .'/
) ` ( ___
/.'`'. .'\',-.\
,'` ` `. ))
/'. .'`'. .'`'.\'/
/ ` ` `Y
('`'. .'`'. .'`'. .)
\ ` ` `/
`.. .'`'. .'`','
-hrr- `.________,'

tercera dimension o profundidad:

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
,---. \ /
( ) ) ( ___
,---:`---'| / \',-.\
( ) ,-^-. ,' `. ))
:`---'| ( )/ \'/
: : :`---'/ Y
: :-: ( )
| | : \ /
`---' | |`. ,'
-hrr- `---' `.________,'

Jarron Segunda Parte....

ejemplo
anterior:
_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\ /
) ( ___
/ \',-.\
,' `. ))
/ \'/
/ Y
( )
\ /
`. ,'
-hrr- `.________,'

Aniadimos una segunda agarradera:

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\ /
___ ) ( ___
/,-.`/ \',-.\
(( ,' `. ))
\`/ \'/
Y Y
( )
\ /
`. ,'
-hrr- `.________,'

Luego agregamos la sombra:

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\..::ooOo/
___ )::ooOo( ___
/,-.`/..::ooOo\',-.\
(( ,'..::ooOoOO`. ))
\`/ . ..::ooOoOO8\'/
Y . ..::ooOoOO888Y
( . ..::ooOoOO888)
\ . ..::ooOoOO888/
`.. ..::ooOoOO,'
-hrr- `.________,'

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\..::ooOo/
___ )::ooOo( ___
/,-.`/..::ooOo.',-.\
(( ,'..::ooOoOOb. ))
\`/ . ..::ooOoOO8\'/
Y . ..::ooOoOO888b.
( . ..::ooOoOO888b
\ . ..::ooOoOO888F
`.. ..::ooOoOOP'
-hrr- `._..ooOO8P'
`------'

_,--------._
`:._______,:)
\..::ooOo/
___ )::ooOo( ___
/,-.`/..::ooOo.d""Yb
(( ,'..::ooOoOOb. Yb
\`/ . ..::ooOoOO8bdP'
Y . ..::ooOoOO888b.
( . ..::ooOoOO888b
\ . ..::ooOoOO888F
`.. ..::ooOoOOP'
-hrr- `. ..ooOO8P'
`------'

Finalmente modificamos la boca del jarron:
,:"""""":.
(:.______,:)
\..::ooOoF
___ )::ooOo( ___
/,-.`/..::ooOo.d""Yb
(( ,'..::ooOoOOb. Yb
\`/ . ..::ooOoOO8bdP'
Y . ..::ooOoOO888b.
( . ..::ooOoOO888b
\ . ..::ooOoOO888F
`.. ..::ooOoOOP'
-hrr- `. ..ooOO8P'
`------'

haciendolo...
Saludos...
