Has anyone got, or used, a copy of this Figlet font?
Is it worth figletising?

Bye,
It's the same as a symbol font.
>Has anyone got, or used, a copy of this Figlet font?
Yes, I do And you can get it here with all of the rest of the fonts:

OK, that turns out to be the definitive Figlet site...I do not know
why it is not listed in the Figlet section of the Ascii Art FAQ?
I got the latest Figlet 2.2 version from there and the 76kb
"figfont.txt" file is awesome in amount of detailed information it
contains...far more than the manual itself.
I also got the Contributed Fonts and there is a 3.3 Mb file ( the
mind boggles as to contents) of International Fonts which I did not
download.
Also there is a link to the official figlet site at Ian Chai's
homepage which endorses the archive at ftp.internexus.net:
----------------- extract from Ian Chai's page --------------------
Who do I get FIGlet from?
Laszlo Vecsey has been kind enough to provide space on his FTP
server, ftp://ftp.internexus.net/pub/figlet/.
o UNIX (source code) and associated utilities
o MS-DOS
o Macintosh FIGlet for MacOS page
o Amiga
o Apple II GS - GNO
o Atari ST
o Acorn
o OS/2 (FIGshell, a GUI-based shell for FIGlet for OS/2)
o NeXTstep
o Microsoft Windows ( FIGWin, a re-implementation of FIGlet with a
GUI)
Many fonts are also available:
o Standard distribution
o Contributed fonts
o International fonts
o MS-DOS specific fonts
o Browse available fonts
WUARCHIVE has a mirror of FIGlet at
ftp://wuarchive.wustl.edu/graphics/graphics/misc/figlet
------------------------- end of extract -------------------------
So having now seen the complete EFTIWALL.FLF font and the
explanatory text file I have a better idea of how it works although
its use is obviously limited. You have to type in a character to
select a particular picture so you need the complete reference
chart:

Oops, sorry, I completely missed that paragraph. I was reading the
eye-catching list of http:// sites for web browsers which appears
below that paragraph and readily catches the eye.
What I would suggest is that mention is made of all the Figlet Fonts
being at internexus as well as programs.

What site is that site then?
I bet it doesn't have that 3.3 megabyte compressed file of
International Fonts...there must be hundreds of 'em in there.
Bye,
I wasn`t announcing another... I was 'correcting' your wording... you don`t know
it has all of them --- some may only exist on the hard drive of their creator!
Be seein' ya...
Martin
Heh. Like the ten ASCII fonts of mine I haven't figletized. I don't know if I
will either, it's a pain in the ascii.
I could line them up in five minutes with TheDraw, that's the easiest part of
it.
>BTW Have you had a look at that 3.3 megabyte International Font file
>on the Figlet archive?
I don't know.

>Heh. Like the ten ASCII fonts of mine I haven't figletized. I don't know if I
>will either, it's a pain in the ascii.
Well it wouldn't be if as you design your characters you put them
at the left margin underneath each other instead of rows across the
screen.
The real pain is in moving all the letters into a vertical line
listing at the left margin so that the figlet codes can be added.
A good wordprocessor with a few tricks can be useful to assist in
making the addition of figlet codes to each character.
The interesting part is the testing after figletisation to see how
each font looks when used in practice.
I have found Normand Veilleux's Font which he said could not be
figletised but I think I can prove him wrong. It is a big font.
BTW Have you had a look at that 3.3 megabyte International Font file
on the Figlet archive?

I did not download the 3.68Meg file international.tar.gz because it
