Speaking of, anyone have a reference to a one-line alphabet using non-standard
characters? ie not one of (a-z,A-Z) I tried working on one, but as kaneda says, I
had problems with the E, F, S, R, X and Z... anyone have any insights? Or comments
on what I've come up with?

Well there is the one I used on my BBS some years ago.. looked good in a
plain 80x25 DOS font, anyway... but it's pretty much useless to ya, since
the E used *DOS* character #250, which was like an underscore ( _ ) but with
three lines (bottom, top, middle)... :)

How's this? <G>

Sounds like Unicode U+2261 IDENTICAL TO.
It's also in Symbol font, at 0186.

= <-- (it looked right until I pasted into this window... *thwack*
Mozilla)

For E, how about 3? 3L33+ B1FF D00DZ!!!!!11 do it ... <g>

I am not normally on this group, but I just browsed it and got stuck on
the subject...

I put together a little alphabet table (incl. the previously suggested)
I know that a few of the suggestions might be cheatin´ a little
(like /v\ for M and |Z for R) and I don¨t know your regular atitude to
ascii's like $ & §.
but have fun anyway.
