Help finding some stories...

I need some stories for a forensics competition.
I'm looking for:

*A Story with Poverty or Hardship (Avoiding cliche sort of things
-- I was thinking an out at sea or shipwreck kind of story)
*A Music Story (I was hoping for something traditional Irish. It
cannot be a ballad, it has to be a story with music in it, not a song
that tells a story.)
*A Chinese Folktale (I have one but I might want something
better)
*A Story with Numbers (I have one but I might want something
better)
*A Hans Christian Anderson Story (I have one but I might want
something better)

I have Numbers, Chinese, and Hans Christian Anderson, but suggestions
are still helpful.
