"Cunnilingus" rip off...:-)
Heard your duet you posted, MySpace.....very nice. That vocal feel,
would be great for "Denim".
Thanks, Jimmy, that's "Ashes To Justice"... yes, I have a good feeling
"Denim" will be a blast to duet with Sandy on. I'll be seeing her at
my Uncle's holiday party shortly, and I'll put the tune on his machine
and see what happens. He has a full studio, so maybe... if not, soon,
though.

Ashes to Justice
Sundown about a week ago,
I took a rest.
I burned the winter bullets
at her request.
She reached out and touched him
through her void.
And when his heart burst
his dream was destroyed.
Ashes to justice
they spread in the dust... us.
Spirits in the air
and the voice is there.
She fled to the underground
as clear as dawn.
All the fragments were strewn
they could not be found.
They were of pictures
stained on the glass.
The smell of summer
rising up from the grass.
What he can do
is what he don't want to do.
Look into her chemicals
and the cobalt eyes.
His head fell suddenly
against the ground.
The glass on the canvas
made a crinkling sound.
Ashes to dust... us
is looking for justice.
Spirit in the air
going who knows where.
-Will Dockery
Very nice indeed
If we don't "speak" have a great one. Whatever it is.
Best from me to Sandy.
I will, and a good one to you as well, Jimmy.
Meanwhile, the holidays turned sad for us here... Robert George, a
local bluegrass picker who fronted the band Bluegrass Review for the
past 30 some odd years, has passed away.
"I have sad news, friends. My multi-talented and most excellent
friend, Robert George, has passed way; I've been told he had a heart
attack and passed before the EMT's arrived. Robert will be dearly
missed. He played and sang in his band "The Bluegrass Revue", mostly
at Country's BBQ on Mercury Drive in Columbus, GA.... My sincerest
condolences to his wife, Mary and his sons, Jason and John." -Rick
Edwards

Why would you think that, MP?
I have many great poets & artists "etched forever in my brain"... but since
you're not a poet or an artist I understand how that could be a perplexing
concept for you.
http://www.wikinfo.org/index.php/Dennis_M._Hammes
Dennis M. Hammes, born April 8 1945, died December 23 2008, was an American
Poet and author of Scrawlmarks, the online poetry manual. He was known
mainly as a regular contributor to the Usenet newsgroups
alt.arts.poetry.comments and rec.arts.poems.
There's some amazing writing in there. I did learn a lot from watching how
he rewrote lines and added new ones, and seeing the improvements before my
eyes. He built in some great consonance -- the p's in S2 and t's in S3 --
just read it out loud and watch them pop out. I could go on and on about
each line he wrote, but I'll limit it to one example that shows his talent;
the rhyme in LL7-8: From every jealous Dick and peeping Tom, it Gushed, the
prophet-zealot-preacher vomit. The problem here was to come up with a rhyme
for 'vomit'. First, Dennis moved 'vomit' to L8, so it looks like the rhyme
we came up with, rather than the word to be rhymed. That's just standard
good writing; but look at what Dennis came up to rhyme it with! Because
"Tom" works so well there, on so many levels (from "Tom, Dick, and Harry" to
the Lady Godiva association), the reader can see that "Tom" has to be the
word used there -- that "it" has to be pulled up from the next line, just to
make it scan -- and therefore "vomit" has to be the rhyme the poet came up
with: a truly inspired rhyme, rather than the word we were looking to fit
in. And look what pulling "it" up did for "Gushed"; it becomes the first
word, and gets capitalized; the second-most prominent word in the line after
"vomit". Dennis was a master craftsman, and one can learn a lot about the
craft by reading his poems. -George Dance on the poem Hollywood Slut

Thanks for the plug, PJR, but can you point out where you imagine such
fantasies in the poem you link to, there?

Your fantasy is noted, PJR...
Ah, so that activity isn't just another fantasy for you, then, PJR?
Ross is a real piece of work, huh?

Poor PJR can never get a break.
Yeah, we were reading those fantasies you were posting here a couple
